We are currently seeking a Software Development Senior Analyst to join our team in HYDERABAD, Telangana (IN-TG), India (IN).
Project Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Intermediate Business Analyst to join our dynamic team for a business process re-engineering (BPR) project focused on property and casualty (P&C) insurance processes. The primary goal of this project is to analyze, redesign, and optimize existing insurance processes to enhance operational efficiency, reduce costs, improve customer satisfaction, and ensure compliance with industry regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Process Analysis and Documentation:
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather detailed information about current P&C insurance processes, workflows, and systems.
- Document existing processes using process mapping tools and methodologies.
- Identify gaps, redundancies, and inefficiencies within current processes.
- Business Process Re-engineering:
- Conduct thorough analysis to identify opportunities for process improvement and optimization.
- Develop recommendations for process redesign and best practices implementation.
- Create future-state process models that align with organizational goals.
- Requirements Gathering and Management:
- Elicit business requirements through interviews, workshops, surveys, and observations.
- Translate business needs into detailed functional and non-functional requirements.
- Maintain and manage requirements documentation throughout the project lifecycle.
- Stakeholder Engagement:
- Facilitate meetings and workshops with cross-functional teams, including underwriting, claims, actuarial, and IT departments.
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels to obtain buy-in and support for process changes.
- Solution Design and Implementation Support:
- Work closely with IT and development teams to ensure that system enhancements support re-engineered processes.
- Assist in the development and execution of test plans and test cases to validate new processes and systems.
- Support the rollout of new processes by providing training materials and conducting training sessions as needed.
- Change Management and Continuous Improvement:
- Assist in developing change management strategies to ensure smooth transition and adoption of new processes.
- Monitor and measure the effectiveness of implemented process changes.
- Provide ongoing recommendations for continuous process improvement.
- Compliance and Risk Management:
- Ensure that re-engineered processes comply with industry regulations and company policies.
- Identify and mitigate risks associated with process changes.
- Technical Skills:
- Strong proficiency in business analysis techniques and methodologies.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to create detailed documentation, including business requirements, process flows, use cases, and user stories.
- Experience with data analysis and visualization
