NTT DATA Services currently seeks a Call Centre Representative(s) to join our team in Halifax, Nova Scotia (CA-NS), Canada (CA).

 

 

NTT DATA is staffing two new classes of Call Center Customer Service Representatives beginning January 4th and January 28th.

 

Under the general direction of Call Center Supervisor, is responsible for providing accurate and thorough interpretation of our client's Health Plan benefits, claims processes, eligibility, and enrollment policies to members, employers, and internal customers. In addition to providing accurate technical information, the Member Specialist is responsible for resolution of complex customer inquiries, the facilitation of problem resolution, and acting as a member advocate by meeting or exceeding customers' expectations. The Member Specialist is expected to take personal and complete responsibility for every interaction with a customer by providing outstanding service as a means to build customer loyalty, improve customer retention, and satisfy corporate customer service goals and objectives.

 

  • Serve as the primary contact for providers and members for questions related to claims, benefits, member enrollment eligibility and other questions related to their Healthcare Insurance Plan.
  • Interface with Claims, Enrollment, IS, Network Management, Pharmacy, Behavioral Health and other internal departments to provide Service Excellence to our customers.
  • Maintain a professional level of service to our customers at all times
  • Maintain confidentiality of information at all times.
  • Consistently support our client's approach to Service Excellence by adhering to established department and company standards for all work -- related functions.
  • Interacts positively with all client Departments.
  • Maintain professional growth and development through self-directed learning activities and involvement in professional organizations.
  • Attends department staff and other meetings as needed.
  • Shares learned experiences with all members of the Customer Service department.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

 

Basic Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • 2 - 4 years experience in a Call Centre or Customer service oriented position
  • Solid Customer Service skills and experience preferred for lower tiered positons
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to interact with many diverse individuals or groups.
  • Ability to comprehend detailed information and communicate that information in a comprehensible manner.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Must be self-motivated and able to work with minimal supervision.
  • Must be team-oriented and focused on achieving organizational goals.
  • Familiarity with Windows based software a plus.
