We are currently seeking a Digital Solution Architect Lead Advisor to join our team in Halifax, Nova Scotia (CA-NS), Canada (CA).

Role Overview

We are seeking a highly experienced AI Architect to lead the design, solutioning, and implementation of enterprise-scale AI and Agentic AI solutions. This role requires a strong blend of AI architecture, enterprise application design, client consulting, presales support, and technical leadership. 

The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in Agentic AI, Generative AI, Machine Learning, Cloud Architecture, FullStack Engineering and Enterprise Solution Design, with proven experience engaging with business leaders, executives, and clients to identify opportunities, define AI strategies, and deliver scalable AI-powered solutions in regulated environment 

The AI Architect will serve as a trusted advisor to clients and internal stakeholders, driving AI innovation initiatives, solution architecture, proposal development, architecture governance, and successful delivery of AI transformation programs. 

Key Responsibilities

• Define AI strategy, architecture roadmaps, and implementation plans aligned with business objectives.
• Design and architect enterprise-grade AI, GenAI, and Agentic AI solutions.
• Design and implement agent-based AI workflows for healthcare use cases (clinical assistants, triage agents, care pathway optimization, RCM automation)
• Build LLM-powered systems (RAG, tool-calling agents, multi-agent orchestration)
• Develop classical ML models (risk scoring, prediction, clustering, anomaly detection)
• Implement  AI architecture with auditability and traceability
• Build full-stack applications (Python APIs, AI services, UI dashboards)
• Integrate with EHRs, data lakes, and healthcare systems (FHIR/HL7 exposure preferred)
• Collaborate with SMEs to translate medical workflows into agent logic
• Deploy, monitor, and optimize AI systems in Azure

• Establish AI governance, observability, security, compliance, and Responsible AI frameworks.
• Lead discovery workshops, solutioning sessions, architecture reviews, and executive presentations to align business needs with AI solutions.
• Partner with sales and account teams to develop RFP responses, proposals, AI strategies, estimates, and solution positioning.
• Engage senior stakeholders, including Directors, VPs, and CXOs, to influence technology and business decisions.

Basic Qualifications: (what are the skills required to this job with minimum years of experience on each)

Required Qualifications & skills

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 3+ years Strong experience designing, architecting, and delivering production-grade AI solutions for enterprise environments.

• 8+ years Hands-on expertise in Python-based AI development, including:

• 3+ years Generative AI (LLMs, RAG, embeddings, prompt engineering)
• 6+ years Traditional Machine Learning (classification, regression, NLP, time-series forecasting)
• 2+ years Agentic AI and emerging AI architectures

• 8+ years Experience building end-to-end AI applications, including API development, integrations, and user-facing solutions.
• 3+ years Strong experience with Microsoft Azure AI ecosystem (Azure OpenAI, Azure AI/ML, Functions, AKS), with exposure to AWS or Google Cloud AI platforms being advantageous.
• 3+ years Experience with cloud transformation, SaaS modernization, and enterprise AI platform implementations.
• 3+ years Deep understanding of Responsible AI, Governance, Security, Privacy, Compliance, and Regulatory Standards.
• 1+ years Experience delivering AI solutions in regulated industries, such as Healthcare, Insurance, Financial Services, or similar compliance-driven domains.
• 2+ years Healthcare domain experience in Payer, Provider, RCM, Clinical, or Healthcare Analytics is preferred.
• 6+ years Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to translate complex AI concepts into business value and explain AI-driven decisions to non-technical and executive audiences.
• 5+ years Comfortable collaborating with business leaders, subject matter experts, and cross-functional teams.
• Relevant certifications such as Microsoft Azure AI Engineer, Azure Solutions Architect, AWS AI Specialty, Google Cloud AI Engineer, or equivalent are desirable.
• Exceptional communication and presentation skills. 
• Ability to influence technical and business stakeholders.

• Healthcare domain exposure
• FHIR / HL7 familiarity
• AWS, GCP, or NVIDIA AI stack experience
• Knowledge of model governance and explainability
