We are currently seeking a Health Care Business Analyst to join our team in Halifax, Nova Scotia (CA-NS), Canada (CA).

Job Responsibilities: 
- Conduct data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and insights that inform business decisions. 
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and document business requirements and translate them into functional specifications. 
- Lead and coordinate privacy impact assessment activities and champion it through to approval. 
- Perform gap analysis to identify areas where current processes or systems need improvement.
- Develop and maintain business process models, workflows, and diagrams to facilitate effective communication and understanding of business processes.
- Analyze business processes and workflows to identify opportunities for optimization and automation.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to define project scope, objectives, and deliverables.
- Collaborate with IT teams to design, develop, and implement technological solutions that address business needs.
- Conduct user acceptance testing to ensure developed solutions meet business requirements.
- Prepare and present reports, dashboards, and presentations to communicate analysis findings and recommendations to stakeholders.
- Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies related to business analysis.

 

Basic Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience working as a Business Analyst in the Health Care industry

- Must be located near Nova Scotia as the position is onsite 2 days per week

- Experience leading and coordinating privacy impact assessment activities 
- Experience translating business requirements into functional specifications
- Experience conducting user acceptance testing to ensure developed solutions meet business requirements

 

Preferences: 
- Bachelor’s degree or college diploma
- Experience working within and across remote teams, inter- and intra-organizationally
