We are currently seeking a Onbase API Developer 

 

We are looking for an OnBase API Developer with strong experience in Hyland OnBase, API integrations, and enterprise application development. The ideal candidate should have hands-on expertise in building, enhancing, and supporting integrations between OnBase and other enterprise systems using REST/SOAP APIs, .NET/C#, SQL, and workflow/document management solutions.

 

This role requires a solid understanding of OnBase architecture, document workflows, Unity/API integrations, and backend application development. The candidate should be comfortable working with business, QA, infrastructure, and support teams.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and support OnBase integrations with internal and external enterprise applications.
  • Build and maintain APIs/services for document upload, retrieval, indexing, workflow actions, and metadata exchange.
  • Develop solutions using OnBase Unity API, Web Services, REST/SOAP APIs, and related integration tools.
  • Configure and customize OnBase workflows, document types, keywords, forms, and lifecycle processes.
  • Collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders to understand document management and workflow requirements.
  • Integrate OnBase with systems such as ERP, CRM, core business platforms, and third-party applications.
  • Troubleshoot production issues, perform root cause analysis, and provide application support.
  • Write and optimize SQL queries/stored procedures for data validation, reporting, and backend integration needs.
  • Participate in code reviews, unit testing, deployment, and release support.
  • Ensure security, scalability, and performance of OnBase-related integrations.
  • Maintain technical documentation, interface specifications, and support guides.
  • Work closely with DevOps/infrastructure teams for deployments and environment support.

 

Required Qualifications.

  • 8+ years in Hyland OnBase development/integration
  • Hyland OnBase certification
  • Strong experience with OnBase API development using:
  • Unity API
  • OnBase Web Services
  • REST/SOAP integrations
  • Hands-on experience in OnBase configuration:
  • Document Types
  • Keywords
  • Workflows
  • User Groups/Roles
  • Forms / Unity Forms
  • Strong programming experience in C#/.NET
  • Good knowledge of SQL Server / Oracle and writing complex SQL queries
  • Experience in building and consuming APIs and web services
  • Strong understanding of document management systems (DMS), enterprise content management (ECM), and workflow solutions
  • Experience with troubleshooting, debugging, and production support
  • Experience with OnBase Workflow, Work View, Unity Forms, and DIP/Document Import Processor
  • Familiarity with support models including incident, problem, and change management
  • Exposure to document imaging, scanning, OCR, and records management
  • Strong communication and stakeholder coordination skills

 

Preferred Qualifications

  • Knowledge of OnBase administration and environment management
  • Experience integrating OnBase with other enterprise systems
  • Familiarity with Windows Services, IIS, batch jobs, and middleware integration
  • Exposure to cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP
  • Experience with Git, Azure DevOps, Jenkins, CI/CD pipelines
  • Basic understanding of authentication/security protocols such as OAuth2, SSO, LDAP, SAML
  • Experience in performance tuning and optimization of OnBase solutions
  • Experience in insurance, healthcare, banking, or financial services domains
  • Experience with microservices architecture

 

NTT DATA provides a reasonable range of compensation for Canada-based positions. The starting pay range for this remote role is $105,094 to $186,500. This range reflects the minimum and maximum target compensation for the position across all Canada locations. Actual compensation will depend on a number of factors, including the candidate’s actual work location, relevant experience, technical skills, and other qualifications. This position may also be eligible for incentive compensation based on individual and/or company performance. If the position offered is temporary, the position will not be eligible for incentive compensation. This position is eligible for the Company’s comprehensive benefits program in Canada, including customizable health and dental coverage with telemedicine, wellness credits, and gym discounts.
