We are currently seeking a QAT Test Lead to join our team in Halifax, Nova Scotia (CA-NS), Canada (CA).

Responsibilities
• Act as a key point of contact for all QA aspects of releases, providing QA services and coordinating QA resources globally
• Maintain a high level of situational awareness regarding all activities relevant to meeting project schedules, SLA’s, and providing regular status updates to management and relevant stakeholders
• Manage comprehensive test coverage and the timely resolution of defects
• Exhibit strong technical, problem analyzing and solving skills
• Implement New Ideas and Proven Concepts from internal and external sources
• Uses defect management (tracking, dispatching, analyzing, reporting) and communicate test results
• Estimate effort and skill set required for QA solution development and QA test execution
• Coordinates and coaches project teams regarding proper test procedure, review techniques for test basis testing, test case definition, Use of ALM, use of other test services, test automation etc.

 

Minimum Qualifications
• 5+ years in QAT leadership role

• 2+ years of ETL Testing Experience and/or

• 2+ years of EDI Transaction testing experience

• 2+ years in the healthcare industry (nice to have)

• Confident and decisive, working well under pressure
• Expertise in QA principles, best-practice patterns, and processes.
• A passion for doing things right and using tools and processes to drive productivity
• Team leadership/management experience with strong Client Engagement
• Results-oriented, energetic individual with attention to detail and desire to grow
• Ability to manage multiple high priority initiative simultaneously

• Exceptional written and oral communications with direct experience managing communications with senior leadership, project sponsors, and stakeholders
• Experience with all phases of software testing (Functional, Integration, Regression, User Acceptance and Release Management)

 

Typical Years of Experience
• 5-7 years relevant experience.

 

Minimum Education and Certifications
• Undergraduate degree or equivalent combination of education and work experience.
• Relevant Test Management Role experience

• PAHM Certification (Nice to have)


Skills
• Strong proficiency in MS office applications
• Exceptional knowledge on Quality Management especially Data Validation

• Ability to Coordinate and lead team

• Exceptional skills in process documentation
