We are currently seeking a Systems Administration Advisor to join our team in Halifax, Nova Scotia (CA-NS), Canada (CA).

  • 10+ years of experience managing Windows servers/Cloud and/or related infrastructure preferred
  • Plan and implement Cloud migration projects and Track deliverables
  • Asset evaluation and analysis Using Cloud Defogger (proprietary to NTT I3) tool through an engineered and methodical approach that quantifies qualitative information about application portfolio and infrastructure to determine cloud suitability
  • Package physical workloads and make it cloud ready for migration to cloud using Cloud Direct (proprietary to NTT I3)
  • Build Business continuity and disaster recovery strategy
  • Implement, Manage, troubleshoot issues related to SAN and Storage Infrastructure
  • Configure and administer zone configuration and ISL on SAN switches
  • Administering and Provisioning storage to host by creating Distributed volumes on VPLEX
  • Configure and Administer data replication using EMC RPA in preparedness for a DR scenario
  • Plan and execute code upgrades to SAN components
  • Lead quality assurance, support, and direct team
  • Coordinate with onsite resource in managing Virtual infrastructure including but not limited to Monitor, Analyze, Identify, and troubleshoot
  • Coordinate with onsite resource in managing Physical Server infrastructure during the firmware and IT application upgrades
  • Disk consolidation tasks for virtual machines when required for any failed image level backups
  • Plan and execute VMware vSphere tools upgrade after ESXi upgrade by meticulously considering the application suite and their impacts
  • Plan and execute code upgrades in CISCO converged infrastructure.
  • Conduct research on emerging products, services, protocols, and standards in support of help desk technology procurement and development efforts
  • Monitor and test fixes to ensure problems have been adequately resolved
  • Implement and manage change when necessary to meet project outputs
  • Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment
  • Establish and enforce service level agreements for issues reported in consultation with end users to establish problem resolution expectations and timeframes
