We are currently seeking a Technical Architect (IT) to join our team in Halifax, Nova Scotia (CA-NS), Canada (CA).

This position as a Technical Architect (TA), will be responsible for performing due diligence and assessment on the Back office (Finance, HR, Sales, Marketing, Legal, Procurement) technology stacks of the target company in alignment with the organizational IT technology roadmap and strategy. As a TA, the person will be responsible for the assessment of applications, infrastructure, tools, network, data, end user devices, digital workplace and collaboration assets in conjunction with the associated business processes to layout integration activity sequence maps for the integration project to avoid any dependency conflicts. Pre-sales due diligence involves understanding and assessing the acquisition risks with impact measures. Following are the list of job duties involved in this position:

• Participates in establishing and maintaining architecture standards and processes. Influences business and technology strategy by understanding business needs and industry trends and prioritizing IT resources.
• Provides architectural design and documentation at an application or function capability level.
• Pre-Sale Due Diligence phase - Enterprise Architecture (EA) review of IT landscape of internal applications, tools, platforms of the target M&A companies – intend to find out integration risks, alignment to NTTDS IT strategy etc.
• Effectively communicates architecture direction to the business and within the IT organization.
• Post-Execution, M&A Integration phase
  • Perform EA review of deep dive IT landscape during the integration project to align target company tools with NTTDS IT strategy
  • Facilitate M&A PgM/PMs to define the integration schedule with appropriate activity sequencing and critical path – by analyzing interdependencies between enterprise applications and business priorities.

Contribute on continuous improvement on the M&A due diligence and Integration Engagements to make it more efficient and agile.
