As a Supply Chain Consultant - Integrated Demand and Supply Planning (IDSP), you will help improve cost efficiency and service levels for our clients, thus increasing their supply chain’s contribution to added shareholder value and overall business effectiveness.

Why the Role Is Important:
NTT DATA’s IDSP consultants work closely with clients on initiatives to balance demand and supply by helping them design their demand and supply planning processes, overlay enabling technology, and ultimately, implement the executive Integrated Demand and Supply Planning process.
Once You Are Here, You Will:
• Play a hands-on role in the day-to-day delivery of Supply Chain Planning solutions to our clients.
• Effectively engage and communicate with clients at all levels of the organization during the delivery process to earn their confidence and trust.
• Conduct SCM/planning process / technology assessments depending on project scope and client needs.
• Identify data needs for a given project, formulate the data request, and work with clients to obtain and model the data for analysis.
• Complete detailed and quantitative analysis and clearly articulate findings and recommendations.
• Conduct client interviews and document current state documentation in process flows that illustrate pain points.
• Participate Advanced Planning & Scheduling technology solution implementations (with state of the art technologies like RELEX, o9 Solutions, Anaplan, Toolsgroup SO99+, etc.) as a functional consultant
• Use capability maturity models to baseline the client business processes and identify gaps for improvement.
• Identify opportunities for improvement, build the business case for change, and prioritize for execution.
• Present your analysis and findings to project and client leadership for acceptance and approval.
• In most cases, the primary duties will depend on the project scope and the candidate's specific role within the team. Most roles require a high level of face-to-face interaction with clients, ability to perform analytical work (AI/ML, Excel, PowerBI/KNIME/SQL, etc.) and present recommendations via PowerPoint/other formats to senior leadership team.
Required Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent education in industrial engineering, information systems, supply chain management, science, technology, math, business, economics, or related major.
• 2+ years of supply chain industry and/or consulting experience.
• 2+ years of experience in demand planning, supply planning, or inventory management.
• Experience working within analytics and BI tools
• Willing and able to periodically travel based on project requirements and client demand.
Preferred Skills:
• Master’s degree or MBA preferred.
• Experience in consulting
• Experience in supply chain planning process design, development and ownership
• Experience using advanced planning and scheduling (APS) software
• Experience implementing advanced planning and scheduling (APS) software, e.g. Anaplan, ToolsGroup SO99+, o9 Solutions, RELEX, etc.
• Experience working on large scale supply chain transformation initiatives
• Experience in Machine Learning and Generative AI
• Experience in data analytics platforms, e.g. KNIME, Dataiku, Alteryx, etc.

Person has an ability to internalize complex networked process & technology landscapes, with capability to design and implement improvements using a self-steered independent approach.
Daily work often involves colleagues and clients from various countries and cultures. Capability to work and communicate in fluent English and appreciation for people from varying backgrounds is foundational for success in this role.
Must reside in Finland. Role is full-time with fully remote or hybrid location (offices in Espoo and Turku).
This position may also be eligible for incentive compensation based on individual and/or company performance.
