Project Manager Sr.

Our Project Management practice group is currently seeking an IT Senior Project Manager who has experience with AI implementations. This entails the capability of building out AI Platforms for one of our global Healthcare/Life Science clients.

Position overview

This Sr Project Manager is a solution-oriented leader that can apply project management techniques to facilitate, coordinate with good communication skills to collaborate with multiple business divisions from vision to realization.  The Project Manager will be adept at building and maintaining relationships, customer obsessed, adaptable, and enjoys bringing structure and discipline to ambiguous spaces to realize measurable value for the business.

Position's General Duties and Tasks:

• Experience leading AI Platform builds/capabilities/ access
• Agile methodology
• Leading via PMP Process Standardization
• Responsible for all aspects of developing project plan, project scope, schedule, resource, risks and overall management to ensure and drive successful delivery of projects.
• Ensure project goals, charter, and deliverables in project plans are achieved within cost, schedule, scope, and quality.
• Responsible for leading and coordinating the operation of assigned projects, including requirements and design sessions, setting project plans, collaborating with resource managers, sending out weekly project health status reports, and resolving risks and issues.
• Assure that the project teams are following project management framework, including assessment, initiation, requirements, design, development, testing, implementation, release, closure. This includes documentation artifacts and gate review.
• Function as a liaison between cross functional teams and leadership to ensure Business and IT needs have been met.
• Prepare and present project progress to project teams, steering committees, and executive staff.
• Provide overall capital and operating expense project budget tracking for multiple projects including full spend and remaining forecasts. – Planview experience a plus
• Coordinate with vendor/suppliers to support project needs.
• Practice multiple project management methodologies (Waterfall, Agile, Hybrid)

Qualifications

Must have Skills:

• Experience with AI platform implementations
• Bachelor's degree in Technical subject area, Business, Science, equivalent work experience, and/or Master’s degree a plus
• 15+ years of hands-on IT project management
• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is a plus/Agile Certification a plus
• Experience in delivery of successful IT projects AI platform implementations 
• Experience in handling budget, project plans, resource allocations. Good understanding of financial concepts and accounting terms
• Experience in portfolio and project management tools, such as Planview EPPM, HP PM Pro, or equivalent
• Strong interpersonal skills, including collaboration, facilitation, and leadership.
• Excellent analytical and technical skills allowing for quick decision making and direction setting.
• Ability to lead multiple projects and interface effectively with team members and across multiple departments & regions/countries
• Ability to implement orderly structure in complex situations, combine big picture thinking with data and details to think through problems.
• Ability to analyze data trends to anticipate issues that may arise and develop proactive solutions to counter them.
• Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills.

Education Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in business, Information Technology, or a related field.
