Program Manager Sr.

Our Senior Project Management practice group is currently seeking an IT Senior Program Manager who has strong experience with financial integrations to support one of our global Healthcare devices/Life Science clients, based out of Costa Rica. 

Position overview

This Senior Program Manager is a solution-oriented leader that can apply program management techniques and experience to lead global, cross-functional teams in a financial application integration. The Senior Program Manager will be adept at building and maintaining relationships; is highly analytical, customer obsessed, adaptable, and enjoys bringing structure and discipline to ambiguous spaces to realize measurable value for the business.

Position's General Duties and Tasks:

• Program Management Leadership
• Strong Financial AP, AR, Intercompany experience
• Ability to read the audience
• Organizational skills
• Experience with Project Management Financial Tracking/Reporting using Planview a plus
• Partner with cross-functional teams – Finance, Business Intelligence, Technology and Supply chain, across geographies and with conflicting needs/priorities to launch multiple products, from concept to launch in an agile development environment.
• Work closely with multiple project managers and stakeholders
• Serve as primary point of contact/communication for customer projects
• Communicate product risks, progress, launches and retrospective across all stakeholder teams – consistently and transparently.
• Strive constantly to improve and establish a high bar in product/project execution using objective metrics.
• Establish business priorities, identifying and communicating progress, risks and mitigation plans, launches and retrospectives in collaboration with stakeholders – consistently and transparently.
• Develop and maintain product goals, delivery plans (milestones, deliverables and schedules), success criteria.
• Lead team to resolve all program/project issues and impediments on a timely manner, effectively communicate, manage expectations and resolve conflicts working closely with team and leadership.
• Provide regular status update to the Leadership and Management team through presentations with constant drive to make improvements to the outcomes.
• Demonstrate high adaptability and flexibility to take responsibility to support new projects that has priority and as communicated.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:

• 15+ years of relevant work experience as a Project and Program Manager
• Financial integration application experience
• PMP/Prince 2 certification preferred
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills is a must.

Preferred Experience/Qualifications:

• Experience with Financial Integrations as a Sr. Project Manager/Program Manager
• Oversight of various customer projects related to financial applications
• To work collaboratively with cross-functional project teams to ensure all project activities are properly planned and delivered.
• This position requires someone with good organizational and time management skills, as well as a customer centric mindset, strong leadership, and excellent communication skills
• Experience working as the point of contact to drive communications with our customers and the leadership team on all customer projects
• Strong communicator with effective presentation skills delivering formal presentations
• Strong understanding of PM Methodologies when articulating project status, risk mitigations, issues, financials tracking.
• Planview PPM tool experience a plus.
• Self-motivated and independent critical thinker who can visualize and guide team during conflicting situations to stay focused on business goals & priorities
• Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills with ability to influence stakeholders and team members with variety of personal styles to focus on right priorities under pressure and tight deadlines.

Education Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in IT, Financial, Mathematics, or related fields
