We are currently seeking a Project Program Director to join our team in Herndon, Virginia (US-VA), United States (US).

Job Summary: 

We are seeking experienced Project Manager who will be responsible for managing delivery across key functional areas supporting mission-critical systems and operations. You will lead a specific LOB, overseeing software development, system maintenance, and operational support activities. This role is responsible for coordinating all aspects of LOB execution, ensuring that deliverables are completed within scope, schedule, and budget while meeting performance and quality expectations. The Project Manager will lead technical teams, manage resources, and serve as a key interface between program leadership and delivery teams, ensuring seamless execution across a complex, multi-contractor environment.

Job Duties:

• Lead all aspects of an assigned Line of Business (LOB), including development, maintenance, and operational support activities.
• Manage project execution to ensure delivery of all LOB deliverables and services in accordance with contract requirements.
• Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, and tracking mechanisms to monitor progress and performance.
• Support execution of technology modernization efforts, including cloud adoption, platform enhancements, and system upgrades aligned to program priorities.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams supporting software development, production operations, infrastructure, and customer support.
• Provide day-to-day leadership to technical teams, fostering accountability, collaboration, and high-performance delivery.
• Identify risks, issues, and dependencies, and implement mitigation strategies to maintain project performance.
• Analyze complex project challenges and develop effective and innovative solutions across technical, operational, and process areas.
• Support secure processing and management of sensitive data, ensuring adherence to security and privacy requirements.
• Champion Agile and DevSecOps practices to improve delivery predictability, efficiency, and team collaboration.
• Provide resource planning and workload coordination, ensuring appropriate staffing and support for both short- and long-term LOB needs.
• Communicate status, risks, and performance to leadership and stakeholders through reports, briefings, and meetings.
• Collaborate across multiple contractor teams to ensure integrated and efficient delivery.

Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree 
• Minimum of 10 years of program management experience
• Minimum 1 year of experience managing Line of Business operations, including agile software development, maintenance, and customer support activities.
• Minimum 1 year of experience managing project deliverables, schedules, and budgets, with accountability for contract performance.
• Minimum 1 year of experience using project management tools to track deliverables, timelines, and performance.
• Ability to obtain a Public Trust Security Clearance. 

Preferred Qualifications:

• Excellent oral and written communication skills, capable of engaging stakeholders.
• Experience supporting large-scale Federal IT systems or enterprise environments
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies and DevOps practices
• Experience supporting operations, maintenance, and enhancement (O&M) programs
• Knowledge of data analytics platforms, cloud environments, or infrastructure operations aligned to assigned LOB
