We are currently seeking a Security Systems Senior Manager to join our team in Herndon, Virginia (US-VA), United States (US).

Designs and implements technical solutions for protecting the confidentiality, integrity and availability of sensitive information. Provides technical evaluations of client systems and assists with making security improvements. Provides technical support in the areas of vulnerability assessment, risk assessment, network security and security implementation. Conducts testing and audit log reviews to evaluate the effectiveness of current security measures. Conducts security product evaluations, and recommends products, technologies and upgrades to improve the client’s security posture.

 

Daily tasks: 

  • Provides leadership support to clients ensuring that security programs and assigned team members meet or exceed goals.
  • Executes security controls to prevent hackers from infiltrating company information or jeopardizing e-commerce programs.
  • Researches attempted efforts to compromise security protocols.
  • Maintains security systems for routers and switches.
  • Ensures use of applicable and most up to date encryption methods.
  • Administers security policies to control access to systems.
  • Supports team members on calls with outside clients.
  • Prepares basic budget reports, assures timeline compliance, and develops implementation/delivery plans

 

Basic Qualifications:

  • Public Trust clearance/MBI and favorable Background Check 
  • Undergraduate degree or equivalent combination of education and work experience
  • Minimum 8 years of experience developing and implementing strategic and tactical plans, determining priorities, reviewing schedules and budgets, and providing work direction
  • Minimum 8 years of experience reviewing objectives and recommending required changes to department operations
  • Minimum 8 years of experience conducting senior team security updates
  • Minimum 8 years of experience providing information to leadership regarding the negative impact on the business caused by theft, destruction, alteration or denial of access to information
  • Minimum 1 year of managerial/leadership experience

For Colorado Candidates

In compliance with the Colorado Equal Pay Transparency Rules, NTT DATA provides a reasonable range of compensation for roles that may be hired in Colorado. For a candidate in the state of Colorado only, the starting pay range for this role is Min: $90,800 - Max: $166,500. Actual compensation will depend on a number of factors, including actual work

location, relevant experience (internal or external), technical skills, and other qualifications.
