Job Title: Associate QA Engineer

2–3 Years

Job Summary:

We are seeking an Associate QA Engineer with 2–3 years of experience in data validation and reporting testing. The candidate should have strong expertise in Power BI, Advanced Excel, and T-SQL to ensure data accuracy, consistency, and quality across BI reports and dashboards. Exposure to MicroStrategy (MSTR) and automation tools will be an added advantage.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform testing and validation of Power BI reports and dashboards
• Write and execute T-SQL queries to validate data accuracy and integrity
• Use Advanced Excel for data analysis, reconciliation, and comparison
• Create and execute test cases, test plans, and test scenarios
• Identify, log, and track defects using standard QA processes
• Collaborate with developers and business teams to resolve issues
• Ensure data consistency across multiple data sources and reports
• Support UAT and regression testing
• Participate in test automation initiatives where applicable

Required Skills:

• Hands-on experience with Power BI
• Strong knowledge of Advanced Excel
• Proficiency in T-SQL / SQL Server
• Understanding of QA methodologies (STLC, SDLC)
• Experience in functional and data testing
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Nice to Have:

• Experience with MicroStrategy (MSTR)
• Familiarity with automation tools (e.g., Power Automate, Selenium, RPA tools)

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field

• Attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to work independently and in a fast-paced environment
