We are currently seeking a Business Consulting-ABAP Consultant to join our team in Hyderabad, Andhra Pradesh (IN-AP), India (IN).

An ABAP Consultant is responsible for designing, developing, testing, and supporting ABAP-based solutions systems. The role requires deep technical knowledge of ABAP programming and strong understanding of business processes to deliver high-quality customizations, enhancements, reports, interfaces, and integrations.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Development & Customization

• Develop and enhance applications using ABAP, ABAP Objects, Web Dynpro, ALV, BDC, BAPI, BADI, User Exits, and Enhancement Framework.
• Create and modify reports, interfaces, forms (SmartForms, Adobe Forms), and modules based on business requirements.
• Build custom functionality using Object-Oriented ABAP.

2. Integration & Technical Tasks

• Develop interfaces using IDocs, RFC, BAPI, and Web Services.
• Work with Fiori, OData services, and UI5 (if required).
• Support data migration activities using LSMW, CDS views, and OData.

3. Collaboration & Support

• Work closely with functional consultants to understand business requirements.
• Provide technical recommendations & ensure alignment with best practices.
• Troubleshoot and resolve production issues in ABAP programs and interfaces.
• Participate in unit testing, integration testing, and UAT support.

4. Documentation & Standards

• Prepare technical specifications (TSD), test cases, and change documentation.
• Ensure code quality through peer reviews and adherence to coding standards.

Required Skills:

• Strong proficiency in ABAP and ABAP OO.
• Experience with Reports, BDC, BAPI, BADI, Enhancements, SmartForms/Adobe Forms.
• Hands-on experience with IDocs, RFC, ALV, and User Exits.
• Good understanding of different modules (FI/CO, SD, MM, PP, HR etc.).
• Knowledge of HANA-based ABAP (preferred): CDS Views, AMDP.
• Familiarity with Fiori/OData development (optional but beneficial).

Soft Skills:

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and documentation ability.
• Ability to work in fast-paced, multi-team environments.
• Self-motivated and capable of working independently.

Education & Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or related field.
• Experience:
• 8+ years (as per requirement).
