We are currently seeking a Lead Engineer to join our team in Hyderabad, Telangana (IN-TG), India (IN).

Job Title
•    Fieldglass Support Engineer / SAP Fieldglass Support Engineer

Role Summary
•    The Fieldglass Support Engineer will provide L2/L3 functional and technical support for SAP Fieldglass (VMS) in a live production environment. The role owns incident triage, root-cause analysis, configuration changes, integrations troubleshooting, release validation, vendor coordination, and continuous improvement to ensure smooth contingent workforce and services procurement operations.

Key Responsibilities
•    Production Support & Incident Management
•    Act as primary L2/L3 owner for Fieldglass incidents and service requests; triage, prioritize, and resolve or escalate per SLAs.
•    Lead P1/P2 incident responses, coordinate war rooms, and provide timely stakeholder communications.
•    Functional Configuration & Maintenance
•    Configure Fieldglass modules: Worker Lifecycle, Job Postings, SOW, Timesheets, Invoicing, Rate Cards, Supplier Management, and Approvals/Workflows.
•    Implement business rule changes, form/layout updates, and security/role changes.
•    Integrations & Data Management
•    Troubleshoot and validate integrations between Fieldglass and ERPs (SAP/Oracle), payroll systems, HRIS, and supplier systems via APIs, EDI, SFTP, and middleware.
•    Validate payloads (XML/JSON/CSV), reconcile inbound/outbound files, and support mapping/data transformation issues.
•    Root Cause Analysis & Permanent Fixes
•    Perform RCA for recurring or high-impact issues; propose and drive permanent remediation (config, process, or integration fixes).
•    Release & Change Management
•    Participate in release planning, perform regression testing, execute UAT, and own post-release hypercare for Fieldglass updates and patching.
•    Ensure changes follow change control and audit requirements.
•    Monitoring, Automation & Reporting
•    Maintain runbooks and automated checks for key processes (timesheet submission, invoice matching, supplier onboarding).
•    Build/maintain operational dashboards and reports for KPIs (SLAs, onboarding times, invoice aging).
•    Vendor & Stakeholder Coordination
•    Liaise with procurement, HR, finance, IT, third-party MSPs, and SAP Fieldglass support; manage vendor escalations and validate vendor fixes.
•    Documentation & Knowledge Transfer
•    Maintain KB articles, troubleshooting guides, configuration documentation, and provide training for L1 teams and business users.
•    Compliance & Controls
•    Ensure Fieldglass configurations support SOX, data privacy, tax, and local labor compliance. Support audit requests and evidence collection.

Required Skills & Competencies
•    Strong working knowledge of SAP Fieldglass functionality and configuration.
•    Experience in production support for Fieldglass or other VMS platforms (L2/L3).
•    Understanding of contingent workforce processes: worker onboarding, timesheets, SOW, services procurement, and supplier management.
•    Integration troubleshooting experience: APIs, EDI, SFTP, and middleware (Dell Boomi, MuleSoft, CPI, etc.).
•    Data skills: payload validation (XML/JSON/CSV), basic SQL, Excel for data reconciliation.
•    Familiarity with ITSM tools (ServiceNow, JIRA) and incident/change/problem management practices (ITIL).
•    Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with an RCA mindset.
•    Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills (technical to executive).
•    Ability to work in an on-call rotation and across multiple timezones.

Preferred / Nice-to-have
•    SAP Fieldglass certification or vendor training.
•    Experience integrating Fieldglass with Workday/Mulesoft/Salesforce/Coupa/Oracle and other ERP/payroll/HR systems.
•    Knowledge of worker classification, tax implications, and local labor regulations for contingent staff.
•    Scripting/automation knowledge (Python, PowerShell) or familiarity with RPA for simple automations.
•    BI/reporting (Power BI, Tableau) experience for dashboard creation.
•    ITIL, PMP, or equivalent certifications.

Qualifications & Experience
•    Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Business, HR, or related field.
•    3–7 years of combined Fieldglass/VMS functional or technical support experience (adjust higher for senior roles).
•    Demonstrated track record supporting live Fieldglass environments and managing integrations with ERPs/HR systems.
Day-to-Day / Deliverables
•    Triage and resolution updates for support tickets; clear incident notes and RCA documentation.
•    Configuration change implementations in non-prod and production (per change control).
•    Integration health checks and reconciliation reports.
•    Runbooks, KB updates, and training materials.
•    Weekly/monthly operational dashboard and SLA reports.
