Job Description

  1. GENERAL DESCRIPTION

 

We are looking for a person who is having 12+ years of experience in managing the application production support teams, incident management.

 

  1. ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

 

  • Must have a 12+ years of experience in IT application support and enhancement engagements
  • Manage medium to large size of the team and their personnel management
  • Ensure contractual obligations are met or exceeded consistently
  • Interact with client’s executives to ensure their needs are being met. Manage and lead complex projects or programs, possibly several concurrently.
  • Develop and implements project plans, specifications and schedules.
  • Translates business objectives into team goals/plans and implement them.
  • Lead and drive the incident resolution for P1 & P2. Engage internal NTT and external vendors and Hanover where necessary to resolve the priority incidents.
  • Ensure teams conduct proactive incident management like reacting to alerts, events etc and doing the health checks regularly
  • Ensure batches are supported effectively across the account. The batch issues are immediately communicated, escalated to client and involve all necessary support teams to resolve the issues quickly to minimize the impact to business.
  • Ensure team members are aligned to support various client activities like infra outage, power outage, disaster recovery and release validations
  • Lead and drive Problem Management initiatives
  • Trend the tickets and find areas to reduce incidents
  • Ensure the SLAs are met or exceeded consistently
  • Adapt ITSM/ITIL best practices & continuous service improvements where applicable.

 

  1. Qualifications

 

  • Must have a Bachelor’s degree or more
  • ITIL certification is preferred
  • PMP certification would be a plus
  • 12+ years of experience in IT industry
