Job Description

We are looking for a skilled PMO consultant to oversee the project management aspects of the discovery phase for our client. The PMO consultant will ensure that all project activities are well-coordinated, timelines are met, and deliverables are achieved. The consultant will work closely with the client and engage with the SMEs to develop a workshop schedule that aligns with the project timelines. Will escalate issues where required and manage the RAIDD log. This role involves working with all functional consultants to track progress, manage risks and report to the senior stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

• Establish and manage the project management office for the discovery phase
• Develop and maintain project plans, schedules and resource allocation
• Develop and track workshop schedules
• Track progress against project timelines and ensure milestones are met
• Identify and manage risks, issues and dependencies across the project
• Coordinate with functional consultants to ensure alignment and integration of all workstreams
• Prepare and present regular status updates and reports to senior stakeholders
• Track project budget
• Facilitate communication between project teams and client stakeholders

Qualifications

• Minimum of 8 years’ experience in project management with a focus on large-scale SAP or IT transformation projects
• Strong understanding of project management and SAP methodologies
• Excellent organisational, analytical and problem-solving skills
• Proven ability to manage complex projects with multiple workstreams
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
• Industry experience in sectors such as supply chain, manufacturing, or automotive is advantageous.
