SAP PTM/PPDS Lead

Role OverviewPosition: SAP S/4HANA PTM Lead (Production Planning, Quality Management, and Manufacturing Integration)

We are looking for 8 to 10 years relevant experience

Project Type: L2/L3 AMS (Application Management Services) / Support & Continuous Improvement

Key Responsibilities

1. Incident & Problem ManagementOwn and manage L2 and L3 support tickets for PP, QM, and related supply chain modules in SAP S/4HANA.Oversee critical incidents (P1/P2) ensuring strict adherence to SLAs (Service Level Agreements) and MTTR (Mean Time to Resolve).Lead root-cause analysis (RCA) for recurring issues to prevent future operational disruptions.

2. Manufacturing & Quality OperationsMonitor critical background jobs, such as MRP Live, capacity planning, and shop floor execution, to ensure system health.Support master data governance and data consistency related to Routings, Bills of Materials (BOMs), Work Centers, and Inspection Plans.Ensure smooth integration between Plant Maintenance (PM), Materials Management (MM), and Finance/Controlling (FICO).Expert in areas of 
IPPE master data, model mix planing and sequencing, configurable materials serial number , interface from external systems, PLMSI integration, S/4 HANA & ePPDS  integration, MRP Fiori Applications, engineering change numbers  

3. Enhancement & Continuous ImprovementTranslate complex business requirements into high-quality Functional Specifications (FSDs) for RICEFW (Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Enhancements, Forms).Collaborate with ABAP developers and technical teams to debug issues, apply SAP notes, and test enhancements.Manage change controls, including Unit Testing, Integration Testing, and coordinating User Acceptance Testing (UAT) with key business users.

4. Team Leadership & Stakeholder ManagementAct as the primary point of contact for business stakeholders regarding PTM processes.Mentor, guide, and cross-train junior functional consultants.Provide executive status reporting, highlighting system performance, ticket trends, and operational KPIs.Required QualificationsExperience: 8+ years of core SAP functional experience, with a minimum of 2 years in a Lead role supporting SAP S/4HANA.Domain Knowledge: Deep understanding of Plan-to-Produce, Make-to-Order (MTO), Make-to-Stock (MTS), and Quality Management processes.Integration: Proven, hands-on understanding of integration points with MM, SD, FI, CO, and PP-PI.Soft Skills: Exceptional analytical skills, strong ability to manage conflict, and excellent written and verbal communication.
