We are currently seeking a Software Development Advisor to join our team in Hyderabad, Telangana (IN-TG), India (IN).

Job Purpose

The Cloud Application Operations Engineer role will support and deliver cloud-native initiatives supporting Jackson's business needs. The Support Engineer should be highly motivated with excellent analysis, execution, and communication skills. The Support Engineer will have an understanding of cloud computing and technology systems and how to apply them in building solutions to solve business needs.

Essential Job Responsibilities

• Assists in Supporting and managing dynamically scalable, fault tolerant cloud solutions to support the ongoing cloud transformation of Jackson’s business.
• Collaborates with development teams to identify optimal cloud solutions in case of issues, outages, errors.
• Contributes recommendations to software development design/architecture, to enable ease of scale, troubleshooting and etc.

• Performs other duties and/or projects as assigned.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

• Basic understanding of cloud computing and technology systems.
• provides platform, L1 (level 1), L2 (level 2) system support for technical issues & initiatives related to large-scale applications, systems, databases and/or other technical products and services.
• Create tickets with Microsoft if the issues are with Azure and track it for closure
• Create tickets for internal tracking, communication and collaboration.
• Perform root cause analysis for issues/error and engage appropriate Product owners to address the issue.
• Build dashboard, alerts and other notification to effective communicate issues, outages to all stakeholders.
• Create Standard Operating procedures to improve knowledge base repositories.
• Support new on-going app cloud migration program
• PowerShell, Python, or other scripting and/or coding experience.
• Regularly communicating with the Solutions Operations Manager to ensure alignment on timelines and potential problems/risk that could require resolution or mitigation
• Positive attitude and a strong commitment to delivering quality work.
• Effective communication skills (written and verbal).
• Ability to collaborate effectively in a team environment to achieve desired results.
• Ability to successfully manage assignments on multiple projects, in a fast-changing technical environment.
• Ability to work extended hours as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or another relevant field or Equivalent experience and/or education. Required.
• 3+ years relevant experience required.
