Systems Integration Specialist Advisor

Position Overview
Seeking an experienced Senior Front-End Developer who specializes in building sophisticated web applications using Ember.js (or similar modern JavaScript frameworks). The ideal candidate is highly proficient in TypeScript, JavaScript, DOM manipulation, HTML5, and CSS3, and has a strong understanding of component-driven development and front-end architecture. Experience with ARIA Authoring Practices Guide (APG), and WCAG 2.0+ standards is a plus.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the development of robust, user-friendly front-end applications using Ember.js or similar frameworks.
• Write clean, maintainable, and scalable TypeScript and JavaScript code.
• Collaborate with business analysts, and back-end developers to translate requirements into high-quality web interfaces.
• Ensure cross-browser compatibility and performance optimization.
• Develop accessible applications that adhere to accessibility standards, leveraging ARIA practices where possible.

Required Qualifications:

• 5+ years of professional experience in front-end development.
• Strong expertise in Ember.js 2.9.1 or similar frameworks (React, AngularJS, Vue.js).
• Proficient in TypeScript, JavaScript (ES6+), DOM manipulation, HTML5, and CSS3/Less.
• Experience building responsive, scalable, and maintainable web applications.
• Deep understanding of client-side performance optimization techniques.
• Familiarity with SignalR and asynchronous request handling.
• Solid experience with Git version control.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Familiarity with the ARIA Authoring Practices Guide (APG) and strong knowledge of web accessibility standards such as WCAG 2.0+
• Experience maintaining legacy Ember.js applications.
• Understanding of building tools like gulp and bower.
• Knowledge of Agile development methodologies.
