We are currently seeking a Testing Engineering Senior Specialist to join our team in Hyderabad, Telangana (IN-TG), India (IN).

Senior ServiceNow ATF Tester – Job Requirements

Required Experience

• 5+ years of ServiceNow testing experience.
• 3+ years of hands-on experience with ServiceNow Automated Test Framework (ATF).
• Experience testing ServiceNow platform implementations, upgrades, and enhancements.
• Proven experience in Agile/Scrum development environments.
• Experience working with multiple ServiceNow modules such as:
• CSM
• Service Portal
• Employee Center

Technical Skills

ServiceNow ATF

• Design, develop, execute, and maintain ATF test suites.
• Create reusable test steps and modular test cases.
• Automate regression, integration, and functional testing.
• Configure test data and test environments.
• Analyze ATF execution results and troubleshoot failures.
• Experience with data-driven and end-to-end automated testing.

ServiceNow Platform Knowledge

• Strong understanding of:
• Customer Service Management
• Workflows and Flow Designer
• Understanding of ServiceNow architecture and platform capabilities.
• Familiarity with ServiceNow releases and upgrade testing.

Scripting & Development

• Working knowledge of JavaScript.
• Understanding of:
• Client Scripts
• Business Rules
• UI Policies
• Script Includes
• Flow Designer
• Integration Hub
• Ability to validate custom ServiceNow development.

Testing Expertise

• Test planning and test strategy development.
• Functional testing.
• Regression testing.
• Integration testing.
• User Acceptance Testing (UAT) support.
• End-to-end testing.
• Smoke and sanity testing.
• Defect lifecycle management.

Integration Testing Experience

Experience validating integrations with:

• REST APIs
• SOAP services
• Monitoring tools

Tools & Technologies

Experience with:

• ServiceNow ATF
• Jira
• Postman
• Selenium (preferred)

Analytical and Troubleshooting Skills

• Ability to identify root causes of test failures.
• Strong debugging and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to review logs and system-generated errors.
• Experience validating complex workflows and business processes.

Certifications (Preferred)

• ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA)
• ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist (CIS)
• ServiceNow Certified Application Developer (CAD)
• ServiceNow Micro-Certification: Automated Test Framework
• ISTQB Foundation or Advanced Tester Certification

Soft Skills

• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Experience mentoring junior testers and test automation engineers.
• Strong documentation and reporting skills.
• Ability to collaborate with developers, architects, and business analysts.

Typical Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain ATF automated test cases.
• Create automated regression suites for ServiceNow releases and upgrades.
• Validate customizations, configurations, and integrations.
• Participate in sprint planning, backlog grooming, and testing activities.
• Review requirements and create test scenarios and test scripts.
• Track, document, and report defects.
• Support release validation and production deployment testing.
• Improve testing standards, frameworks, and automation coverage.

Nice-to-Have Qualifications

• Experience with ServiceNow AI/GenAI capabilities.
• Experience with ServiceNow Test Management 2.0.
• Knowledge of Performance Analytics.
• Experience in regulated industries (Healthcare, Banking, Government).
• Experience leading QA efforts for enterprise-scale ServiceNow implementations.
