We are currently seeking a Network Operations Center Director to join our team in Indianapolis (REMOTE), Indiana (US-IN), United States (US).

 

NTT DATA Services Federal Government is seeking a highly capable Network Operations Center (NOC) Director to lead our team that will support the North American segment of the Rolls-Royce network. As a global leader in IT services, we deliver innovative solutions to drive mission-critical operations for our clients. This role offers an opportunity to oversee a dedicated team of eight professionals, ensuring 24/7 network reliability with after-hours support managed through an on-call rotation, while aligning with our commitment to excellence and client success.

 

The Network Operations Center (NOC) Director will:

  • Lead the team to ensure the seamless operation of the Rolls-Royce network.
  • Develop and implement strategies to optimize network reliability, coordinate incident response and resolution, and ensure compliance with organizational standards.
  • Manage team performance, foster a culture of collaboration, and liaise with stakeholders to align NOC operations with business objectives, driving continuous improvement in service delivery.
  • Provides leadership to assigned networking group(s) in support of all clients as it relates to network design, network operations, network convergence and network security.
  • Manages the planning, development, installation and operations of network systems by evaluating current and future business requirements.
  • Manages the installation, modification, testing, and servicing on all converged network communications equipment.
  • Develops, maintains, communicates and executes project plans and schedules, prioritizes requirements, and coordinates teams.
  • Ensures products are compatible with existing and future environmental integration. Identifies, evaluates and resolves financial and business issues.

 

Key responsibilities include:

  • Lead and manage an eight-person team of professionals by providing direction, performance management and developing a collaborative team culture that ensures effective operations.
  • Oversee continuous network monitoring for the North American Rolls-Royce network by managing after-hours on-call support to maintain high availability and performance.
  • Working with the Rolls-Royce team, create and implement strategies that optimize the network’s reliability and proactively address potential issues to minimize downtime.
  • Lead the NOC team in the identification, response to, and resolution of network incidents that ensure minimal impact on operations.
  • Adhere to organizational, industry, and Government standards to ensure that all NOC operations meet security, performance, and regulatory requirements.
  • Identify any opportunities for process improvements and implement best practices to improve NOC service efficiency and delivery.
  • Work with both internal and external stakeholders, including Tools-Royce leadership, to align operations with business objectives and client needs.
  • Allocate team resources effectively, to include managing on-call schedules to ensure adequate coverage and work-life balance.

 

Basic Qualifications: 

  • US Citizenship required.
  • Ability to obtain an interim Secret clearance or higher prior to start.
  • Undergraduate/bachelors degree or equivalent combination of education and work experience.
  • Minimum 12 years of experience in network operations. 
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a leadership role managing a team of network professionals.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience overseeing 24/7 network operations with an on-call staff.

 

Preferred Qualifications: 

  • Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP) or Cisco Certified Internetwork Expert (CCIE).
  • CompTIA Security+ or Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP).
  • Graduate degree preferred.
  • Project Management Professional certification.
  • ITIL V4 certification.

 

Where required by law, NTT DATA provides a reasonable range of compensation for specific roles. The starting pay range for this remote role is [$128,858 - $298,281]. This range reflects the minimum and maximum target compensation for the position across all US locations. Actual compensation will depend on a number of factors, including the candidate’s actual work location, relevant experience, technical skills, and other qualifications. This position may also be eligible for incentive compensation based on individual and/or company performance. This position is eligible for company benefits including medical, dental, and vision insurance with an employer contribution, flexible spending or health savings account, life and AD&D insurance, short and long term disability coverage, paid time off, employee assistance, participation in a 401k program with company match, and additional voluntary or legally-required benefits.
