We are currently seeking a Data Engineer - Irving, Texas to join our team in Irving, Texas (US-TX), United States (US).

This is a permanent, fulltime, salaried position with benefits.  Not open to C2C or C2H.

Job Duties and Responsibilities Include:

• Collaborative working with the client’s technology and business staff day-to-day 

• Codes, tests, debugs, implements, and documents complex global applications

• Negotiate features and associated priorities and help the team and their customers reach consensus

• Develops and/or leads the development of prototypes

• Identify problem causality, business impact and root causes

• Coming up with exact solutions for problems related to object identity and error handling

Basic, Required Qualifications:

• Minimum five years' work experience in building data pipelines using Python, PySpark, DJango, to include:
  • Should have hands on experience on the MLOps.
  • Hands-On experience in working with Python and related packages (like NumPy, pandas etc.) to load and scrap the data. 
  • Hands-on experience with at least one of the tools the Hadoop eco-system (HDFS, AWS Glue, MapReduce, Yarn, Hive, Pig, Impala, Spark, Kafka). 
  • Working experience on Relational/Non-relational databases and familiarity with data model concepts 
  • Source code management system - GIT, Bitbucket
  • Dev Ops experience, understanding of CI/CDE pipelines
• Minimum five years' working with RDBMS Database Development
• Minimum five years' working with advanced T-SQL or PL/SQL

Other Desired Qualifications:

• Working exposure in blending as part of larger scrum team and understanding of related scrum ceremonies 

• Working knowledge of Unix/Linux. 

• Ability to work with extremely large data sources (20+GB daily flat files) from multiple platforms such as:  mainframe, SQL Server, Oracle, Teradata. 

• Ability to work with an existing framework and/or improve upon existing framework to expand functionality.

• Ability to take singular processes and abstract into frameworks. 

• Knowledge of cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) 

• Certification/ course on Data Science from any reputed institute/ portal
