We are currently seeking a Senior OpenShift Engineer / SME to join our team in Irving, Texas (US-TX), United States (US).

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

• Technical Subject Matter Expert (SME) in OpenShift Container Orchestration Platform and Ansible Automation Platform. 
• Design, deploy, manage, and support OpenShift containerized infrastructure. 
• Develop and maintain Ansible automation for efficient deployment and management of OpenShift infrastructure and applications. 
• Administer and optimize core infrastructure components, including compute, storage, networking, logging, and monitoring. 
• Collaborate with application teams and developers to ensure platform reliability, performance, and functionality. 
• Manage the full lifecycle of containerized applications, from design and development to operation and decommissioning. 
• Expert-level proficiency in OpenShift, serving as a go-to resource for troubleshooting and best practices. 
• Extensive hands-on experience in deploying and operating scalable infrastructure and services using OpenShift, Kubernetes, and Docker. 
• Strong expertise in CI/CD and Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) tools, including Ansible and Terraform. 
• Knowledge of core computer science concepts, including networking, operating systems, storage, virtualization, and containerization. 
• Comprehensive understanding of software engineering principles, including SDLC and GitOps. 
• Exceptional troubleshooting and analytical skills, with the ability to diagnose issues across networking, infrastructure, applications, and databases. 
• Expertise and operational experience in: 
• Container Orchestration: OpenShift 
• Automation: Ansible Automation Platform 
• Version Control: GitHub, Bitbucket 
• Virtualization: Preferably OpenStack 
• Container Image Repositories: Preferably Artifactory  

Basic Qualifications: (what are the skills required to this job with minimum years of experience on each) 

• Minimum 5+ years of experience in OpenShift Container Orchestration Platform.  
• Minimum 5+ years of experience in Ansible Automation Platform. 
• Minimum 5+ years of experience of CI/CD and Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) tools, including Ansible and Terraform. 
• Minimum 5+ years of experience in Project Operations tasks like troubleshooting and issue resolution. 
• Minimum 8+ years of experience in SDLC and GitOps
