We are currently seeking a Senior Business Analyst to join our team in Jersey City, New Jersey (US-NJ), United States (US).

Job Title: Regulatory Reporting Business Analyst

We are seeking a detail-oriented Regulatory Reporting Business Analyst with strong experience in CCAR and FR Y-14Q/A reporting within large banking institutions. The ideal candidate will have expertise in regulatory data and functional requirements, data lineage, and governance frameworks, along with a proven ability to collaborate with Finance, Technology, and Chief Data Office teams.

This role focuses on delivering end-to-end regulatory reporting solutions, ensuring data accuracy, traceability, and compliance with regulatory standards.


Key Responsibilities

  • Develop a strong understanding of CCAR regulatory reporting instructions and FR Y-14Q/A data elements
  • Gather and analyze regulatory reporting business requirements
  • Translate business needs into functional and data requirements
  • Design regulatory reporting solution architecture and system specifications
  • Document data requirements based on regulatory report instructions (BRD/FRD)
  • Perform data discovery, data lineage, and data mapping across source systems
  • Conduct data gap analysis in collaboration with data providers and system owners
  • Create and maintain data mapping documents linking source attributes to reporting requirements
  • Partner with Data Management teams to ensure proper handover and implementation
  • Conduct fit-for-purpose data assessments to validate data quality and completeness
  • Execute testing and reconciliation activities to ensure accuracy of reporting outputs
  • Document reporting logic and rules for Axiom regulatory platform
  • Reconcile Axiom outputs with existing production processes
  • Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and production deployment for end-to-end automation
  • Collaborate with Finance, Technology, and Data Governance teams to enhance data governance, traceability, and attestation
  • Support remediation of regulatory and control issues

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • 8+ years' experience with CCAR and FR Y-14Q/A regulatory reporting
  • 8+ years' experience with banking regulatory frameworks and reporting processes
  • 8+ years' experience in:
    • Data requirements gathering and analysis
    • Data lineage and data governance
    • Functional and technical documentation (BRD, FRD)
  • Hands-on experience with data mapping, gap analysis, and reconciliation
  • Familiarity with Axiom (or similar regulatory reporting tools)
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams (Finance, Technology, Data Office)
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
