We are currently seeking a Technical Business Analyst - Banking Payments using APIs - HYBRID to join our team in Jersey City, New Jersey (US-NJ), United States (US).

Seeking a Technical Business Analyst with strong experience in transactional banking, API‑driven platforms, and Java/Spring Boot environments. The role bridges business needs with technical delivery across microservices, Oracle integrations, and OpenShift deployments.

Day to Day Responsibilities:

• Gather and document business and functional requirements for payments, cash management, and transaction processing.
• Translate requirements into user stories, process flows, API specs, and acceptance criteria.
• Collaborate with architects and developers to design API and microservice solutions (Java/Spring Boot).
• Analyze data flows, integration points, Oracle queries, and backend systems.
• Support API testing, SIT/UAT, defect analysis, and production readiness.
• Work with DevOps teams on OpenShift deployments and CI/CD processes.
• Maintain documentation (BRDs, FSDs, mappings, sequence diagrams).

Minimum Requirements:

• 5–8+ years as a Technical BA in banking.
• 3+ years transactional banking (ACH, Wire Transfers, SWIFT, RTP, liquidity).
• 3+ years with Java/Spring Boot microservices and REST API designs.
• 3+ years experience with Oracle databases, SQL, and system integrations.
• 3+ years proficient with JIRA, Confluence, Swagger/OpenAPI, Postman.

Preferred Skills

• Excellent communication, analytical, and stakeholder‑management abilities.
• Strong problem-solving and attention to detail in Agile delivery environments.
• Hands-on exposure to OpenShift or Kubernetes-based environments.

Where required by law, NTT DATA provides a reasonable range of compensation for specific roles. The starting pay range for this remote role is $78,948 - $164,476. This range reflects the minimum and maximum target compensation for the position across all US locations. Actual compensation will depend on a number of factors, including the candidate’s actual work location, relevant experience, technical skills, and other qualifications.
