QAT Lead - Manual and Automation

We are currently seeking a QAT Lead - Manual and Automation to join our team in King Of Prussia, Pennsylvania (US-PA), United States (US).

Role Responsibilities/Accountabilities:

- Participate in daily scrum stand ups, backlog grooming and refinement sessions, sprint planning meetings and sprint review and retrospective meetings

- Support the product owners in maintaining the product backlog and scheduling next release

- Understanding requirements & data mapping

- Interact with Dev team, BA team, Data Analyst, and Data architects for understanding project requirements, and technical design

- Construct test scenarios from business requirements, functional specifications and design documents and ensure that requirements are linked to test artifacts and requirement coverage is adequate

- Evaluate test data against expected scenarios, identifying deficiencies

- Prepare test data to validate all positive and negative scenarios as needed

- Run the Load and fix the issue if any come during the load

- Perform Regression testing, Functional testing, automated testing where possible

- Create defects for identified issues and participate in the defects triage meeting as needed

- Perform root cause analysis, tracing defects to underlying issues with requirements, data, or transformations

- Participate in requirement and design review meetings to stay informed of potential impact to testing cases

- Perform test task estimation and provides input to test delivery schedule

- Escalate issues to Project Manager and Quality Assurance Manager as needed in a clear, concise and timely manner. Consistently identify solutions to issues

- Participate in project meetings, design reviews & walkthroughs as needed

- Contributeideas and effort toward continuous improvement and Quality enablement

Basic Qualifications:

- 8+ years of web application testing using both Manual and Automation tools / scripts.            

- API and web services testing using both Manual and using Automation tools / scripts

- Write SQL queries required for data validation

- Web and API application automation techniques

- Test Automation tools preferably Selenium

- Scripting for automation (Web & API), preferred language is Python

- Agile development environment

Preferences:

- Experience with Mobility testing

- Experience with JIRA

- Finance domain experience: basic concept and terminology

Education:

- Bachelor of Science in Engineering or Computer Science or applicable experience
