NTT DATA Services currently seeks a Training General Clerk Senior Associate to join our team in Kittery, Maine (US-ME), United States (US).

 

 

This position will be providing support to our customer's Training department.

 

Roles and Responsibilties:

 

  • Prepare announcements for training requirements.
  • Update training completions electronically as training courses (on-line and classroom) are reported in the various databases.
  • Enter training data into the customer Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) and Total Workforce Management System (TWMS).
  • Research training courses.
  • Assist customers in training requirements.
  • Provide business interactions with training vendors.
  • Provide input for weekly program review.
  • Maintain updated list of requested training.
  • Prepare events for training, including but not limited to reserving and setting up conference rooms, setting up Listening Assistive Equipment, recording attendance, scheduling and announcing notice of the event.
  • Provide Defense Civilian Personnel Data System (DCPDS) uploads to Human Resource Service Center-Northeast (HRSD-NE).
  • Collect, document and file training material.
  • Collect and analyze Individual Leadership Development Plans (ILDP).
  • Provide clerical services such as incorporating updates and formatting internal operating documents (IODs), Instructions, Manuals, Work Procedures and guides.
  • Provide draft report for the Performance Self-Assessment (PSA).
  • Provide information to management on Defense Acquisition Workforce Improvement Act (DAWIA) requirements.
  • Provide administrative support for data calls and special studies.
  • Notify employees, contractors and management of delinquent training (tracking).
  • Provide Cell Phone exchange assistance, maintain user agreement records.
  • Provide administrative support for training analysis.
  • Provide training cost analysis.
  • Maintain updated list of mandatory training.
  • Provide assistance with training records management.

 

Education

  • Requires a High School diploma or GED equivalent.

 

Specific Skills Required

  • Must have an active Secret clearance
  • Typically requires 5 years experience
  • 2+ years experience working with databases, spreadsheets and graphs
  • 2+ years experience working in an office environment tracking and communicating status of assigned tasks
  • 2+ years experience organizing data and records for easy retrieval
  • 2+ years experience working in a customer service environment
  • Demonstrated knowledge (Intermediate Level or higher) of Microsoft Office products specifically Word, Excel and Outlook

 

Desired Skills

  • Support for Maintenance Instruction Documents (MID) products, such as Maintenance Standards, Test Procedures, and product CD production/distribution; or Support of Planned Maintenance System (PMS) product production/distribution; or Support of production of Navy Manuals or manuals of similar complexity
  • Experience working in Navy-Marine Corp Internet environment
  • Experience handling unclassified and classified Naval Nuclear Propulsion Information and Personally Identifiable Information (PII)
  • Experience in scheduling and coordinating training events
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
