NTT DATA Services currently seeks a Sr. AEM Full Stack Lead Developer to join our team in Dallas, Texas (US-TX), United States (US).

 

 

NTT DATA Services has launched a new Customer Engagement division that combining a world-class team to deliver leading ecommerce, CMS, UX design, social and mobile solutions to top-tier clients. Our focus is on helping customers leverage the latest technologies and organizational principals to disrupt their markets, fend off competitors and achieve major P&L growth.

 

To support this global initiative, we are expanding our Adobe & AEM practice in North America and are looking for a Senior AEM Developer to join us. The Senior AEM Developer will have the opportunity to enhance their career working with an experienced Adobe AEM Architect and be a part of an innovative team to grow the practice in North America.  This opportunity could also provide a tailored career path for those interested in pursuing an AEM Technical Architect, or leading a charter in our Adobe Center of Excellence.

 

Responsibilities

 

  • Developing Adobe Forms and AEM web applications including site structure, custom components, custom workflows using the AEM architecture (Sling, CRX, OSGI, JCR), object model designs (Java APIs), and unit testing
  • Effectively communicating technical expertise, guidance, and best practices to client and dev team members on topics related to AEM and relevant systems, tools, etc.
  • Interacting with QA lead, client, project manager to quickly troubleshoot and solve defects
  • Translating business requirements into AEM-specific implementation specifications
  • Interacting regularly with both technical subject matter experts as well as business owners of all organizational levels
  • Participate in the software design, development, and implementation using standard WCM and/or eCommerce platforms such as Adobe AEM (CQ), SDL Tridion, Sitecore, Fatwire, CrownPeak, hybris, Oracle/ATG Demandware, Intershop and IBM WebSphere Commerce
  • Provide advanced-level development and documentation skills
  • Provide strong testing and debugging skills at all levels, including unit, system, integration and performance testing
  • Assist in the conceptual and technical design, using object oriented design techniques
  • Assist with the estimation of development tasks
  • Independently interface with client technical teams and business owners as needed during the design and implementation
  • Independently manage individual time and tasks
  • Mentor junior team members and ensure software developed adheres to best practices and quality standards through code and design reviews

 

Requirements

 

  • 5+ years of hands on Java & J2EE/JEE software development experience
  • 2+ years of full life cycle implementation experience using various SDLC methodologies
  • 3+ years of developing in AEM
  • 4+ years of experience in systems integration and development, package implementation, and/or interactive design
  • Served as a lead developer or team lead of a small team
  • Bachelors or master’s degree in computer science, engineering, MIS or related field

 

Desired Skills

 

  • Experience in multiple web technologies including: XML, HTML, XHTML, XML, CSS, AJAX / JavaScript, Web Services/SOAP, SQL
  • Experience with one or more Java concepts and patterns including: Java/J2EE, JSP, Spring, Sling, JMS, JUnit, AOP, MVC, Eclipse
  • Experience with multiple source control systems: CVS, SVN, Git
  • Working knowledge of multiple web and application tier technologies: Tomcat, WebSphere, Weblogic, Apache Http, Spring tcServer, Solr, open source packages
  • Experience with web application design and analysis, design patterns, and object oriented design
  • Ability to define, create, and complete a technical task without guidance
  • Ability to thoroughly unit test all work and deliver an error-free technology component to the team
  • Ability to deliver constructive feedback and to lead by example
  • Ability to articulate a vision of the total solution
  • Experience estimating development tasks
  • Ability to anticipate issues and formulate remedial actions
  • Excellent verbal and non-verbal communication skills
  • Experience in a consulting environment
  • Demonstrated leadership in professional setting; either military or civilian
  • Demonstrated teamwork and collaboration in a professional setting; either military or civilian
