We are currently seeking a Senior Field Service Techincian to join our team in Lexington, Massachusetts (US-MA), United States (US).

Day to Day Job Duties:
-Leads, implements, and troubleshoots complex and specialized IT problems and resolves into solutions
-Proactively assigned to responsibility for the more visible and more critical engagements
-Responsible for addressing escalated and/or complex break/fix issues
-Manage IT projects critical to the company
-May be involved in scope of work and service description reviews
-Leads technical engagement auditing
-Defines and implements common practices and establishes standards
-Produce Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and work instructions / run books
-Helps define and deliver training to meet key business initiatives
-Provides technical assistance and advice to senior leadership as needed
-Leads and/or acts as a team member on strategic projects
-Establish strong communications and long-term relationships with clients, vendors, and partners
-Communicates cross-functionally to establish common resolutions
-Analyzes and communicates quality and technical information to product groups
-Responsible for improving the team’s technical proficiency, client experience, and quality metrics
-Individual must possess domain, technical, and process authority in their designated subject area


Required Qualifications:

  • 5 years of IT work experience in computer systems or support
  • 3-5 years of experience with basic hardware and software products and problem solving /diagnostic skills
  • Bachelor’s Degree, or technical institute degree/certificate in Computer Science, Information Systems, or another related field. Additional experience is an acceptable substitute for college degree requirements
  • Interim Secret Clearance required


Preferred Skills:
-In-depth knowledge across of NTT DATA’s service lines; deep knowledge in two or three key IT service areas
-Windows 10, LDAP/Active Directory, Microsoft Office 365
-Experience troubleshooting and configuring Microsoft 365 services
-Experience troubleshooting, configuring, and administrating Microsoft Exchange for iOS mobile devices
-New system deployment (including setup, imaging, software installation, and data migration)
-Resolution of hardware driver conflicts, user profile corruption, and operating system errors
-McAfee, SCCM, and whole disk encryption troubleshooting
-PKI certificate assistance (requesting, installing, troubleshooting) for Email and authentication
-Software installation
-SentinelOne and whole disk encryption troubleshooting
-Liaison and Gateway to Tier 3 Support including vetting of Tier 2 incident/requests
-iOS Mobile device configuration and deployment
-Assist with Knowledge Base Article management to include initial proof reading and feedback of new articles, revision requests of existing article deficiencies, and accountability of article content comprehension
-Auditing and configuration of client-maintained classified systems
-Process security requests involving malicious software and vulnerability investigations
