NTT DATA is currently looking for a DWDM Consultant on a hybrid working model (remote + on client site, either London or Sheffield) for our growing team in the UK.

Your responsibilities:

• Design, implement and maintain OTN & DWDM solutions aligned with FM TX and IP networking needs

• Configure, monitor and troubleshoot network issues related to OTN and DWDM technologies

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure high performance, reliability, and security in optical transport networks

• Integrate new technologies to enhance FM TX systems for seamless high-capacity operations

• Conduct technical assessments, recommend upgrades, and implement performance enhancements

   

The ideal candidate for this role will have the below experience:

• Hands-on experience with DWDM transmission systems, including coherent transponders, EDFAs, Raman amplifiers, and ROADMs is desirable.

• multiple years of hands-on experience in FM Transmission (TX), OTN and DWDM

• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills in complex network environments
