We are currently seeking a CCTV Installation Superintendent to join our team in Los Angeles, California (US-CA), United States (US).

 

NTT DATA is seeking a CCTV Installation Superintendent.  This candidate will be responsible for the overall escalation for Site CCTV issues and concerns and will provide reporting and infrastructure data in relations to CCTV Networks. Ensure all technicians are certified to provide service within the CCTV Network field.  Responsible for the on-site integration of company and multi-vendor systems solutions, which may include hardware, software, and networking products.  On-site and/or remote installation, implementation, configuration, maintenance, troubleshooting and/or repair of low voltage CCTV systems, Testing and terminating coaxial, fiber, and copper cable as needed for analog and IP based CCTV systems.  Serves as company liaison with client on administrative and technical matters. Interprets clients’ needs and determines the responsibility for problem resolution.  

Key Responsibilities 

 

  • Oversee multiple site locations, managing a team of technicians and installers, providing guidance and training as needed.
  • Project manage complete installation of all in scope hardware and software required to meet customers expectation.
  • Dispatch necessary resources to strategic locations.
  • Overall escalation point for concerns or issues.
  • Provide data points for improvement and increase surveillance areas.
  • Install, maintain, and repair CCTV systems, including cameras, DVRs, monitors, and associated cabling and hardware.
  • Configure and program CCTV systems for recording, including setting up motion detection and scheduling recording times.
  • Testing and terminating coaxial, fiber, and copper cable as needed for analog and IP based CCTV.
  • Troubleshoot and diagnose issues with CCTV systems, identifying hardware faults and software glitches.
  • Provide training to clients on the operation of CCTV systems, including how to review footage, export video clips, and manage system settings.
  • Implement network configurations for IP-based CCTV systems, ensuring secure and efficient data transmission.
  • Coordinate with security personnel and law enforcement agencies to provide video evidence and support investigations.
  • Upgrade CCTV systems by integrating new technologies, enhancing system capabilities, and expanding coverage areas.
  • Coordinate with other construction professionals, such as electricians and project managers, to ensure timely and efficient project completion.
  • Supports service level improvement and management of field service teams and suppliers.
  • Inspect and test low voltage systems to ensure they are functioning correctly.
  • Maintain project documentation, including schedules, work orders, and inventory records.
  • Ensure that all work complies with relevant codes and regulations.
  • Resolves escalations to maintain strong client experience levels.
  • Design strategies to ensure that all day-to-day services have been controlled and that all the clients' needs are met.
  • Execute remote field service from a home-based office.
  • Performs computer program entry as required to add closed circuit television cameras as needed.

 

Work Environment 

  • Ability to stand, squat, kneel, bend, crawl, sit, climb a ladder and lift 30 - 50 lbs (occasionally overhead)

Required Qualifications 

 

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in related field.
  • 10+ years working with Security, Access Control, CCTV, Intrusion Alarm systems, Intercom systems or other building or electronic control systems.
  • OSHA 10-hour General or Construction Industry Safety and Health Certification.
  • CompTIA Network+ certification.
  • Electronic Security Association’s (ESA) Certified Alarm Technician Level II or higher.

 

Desired Skills

  • Excellent organizational, communication, computer, and problem-solving skills.
  • Basic knowledge of networks and/or network switching.
  • Computer proficiency -- experience with Microsoft Office products.
  • Ability to manage escalated and assigning those escalation to the proper site locations for technicians’ remediation.
  • Excellent understanding of internal service processes and able to articulate these to clients.

 

Where required by law, NTT DATA provides a reasonable range of compensation for specific roles. The starting pay range for this role is between $ 69,768 and $139,536 annually. Actual compensation will depend on a number of factors, including the candidate’s relevant experience, technical skills, and other qualifications. This position may also be eligible for incentive compensation based on individual and/or company performance.
