We are currently seeking a LAN Network Design Manager to join our team in Los Angeles, California (US-CA), United States (US).

NTT DATA is seeking a skilled LAN Network Design Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will develop and implement network topologies, configure hardware and software, define network specifications, and manage network security across our multi-site operations. A key responsibility will be contributing to the planning and execution of our network modernization and refresh program, utilizing expertise in advanced networking technologies and troubleshooting network-related challenges.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, implement, and maintain robust network systems to support multi-site business operations.
  • Install and configure routers, switches, wireless controllers, and other essential network hardware components.
  • Test network systems and promptly identify and resolve hardware and software issues.
  • Lead network modernization and refresh initiatives, ensuring minimal operational disruption and strict adherence to company standards and project schedules.
  • Troubleshoot and isolate network-related problems, implementing effective solutions to restore optimal performance.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to enhance network performance and strengthen security protocols.
  • Deliver technical support and guidance to end-users as needed.
  • Develop and maintain thorough documentation of all network configurations and infrastructure.

 

Minimum Qualifications

  • Minimum of 10 years of Network Engineering experience managing projects of similar scope and complexity.
  • Minimum 3 years of Network Design experience
  • At least three 10 years of experience overseeing AutoCAD records, asset databases, and test result management.
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen or Green Card Holder.
  • Must reside within commuting distance of Los Angeles, CA or be willing to relocate.

 

Key Competencies

  • Familiarity with contract specifications and standards such as Telecommunications Industry Association (TIA) and Electronic Industries Alliance (EIA) EIA/TIA standards, specifically for the design, installation, and integration of information and communications technology (ICT).
  • Demonstrated experience as a Network Technician or similar role.
  • Expertise in network design and implementation, with a focus on multi-site environments.
  • Strong knowledge of TCP/IP protocols and network management systems.
  • Comprehensive understanding of networking protocols and operational procedures.
  • Professional certifications such as CCNA (Cisco Certified Network Associate), Network+, CCNP (Cisco Certified Network Professional), or equivalent are highly preferred.

 

We are required by law, NTT DATA provides a reasonable range of compensation for specific roles. The starting pay range for this role is $123,172 to $205,288. Actual compensation will depend on a number of factors, including the candidate’s relevant experience, technical skills, and other qualifications. The candidate may also be eligible for incentive compensation based on personal and/or company performance. This position is eligible for company benefits including medical, dental, and vision insurance with an employer contribution, flexible spending or health savings account, life and AD&D insurance, short- and long-term disability coverage, paid time off, employee assistance, participation in a 401k program with company match, and additional voluntary or legally required benefits.
