We are currently seeking a Test Manager to join our team in México, Ciudad de México (MX-CMX), Mexico (MX).

Test Manager Profile

We are seeking an experienced Test Manager who will be responsible for defining and executing the overall testing strategy and processes throughout the project life cycle. The ideal candidate will coordinate cross-functional teams, ensure adherence to quality standards, and manage risks and schedules related to testing activities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Define testing objectives, strategies, and plans aligned with project goals and timelines.
• Coordinate and lead test teams (on-site and offshore), assigning tasks and monitoring performance.
• Ensure thorough documentation of test artifacts, including test cases, scripts, and reports.
• Collaborate with project managers, developers, and other stakeholders to identify and mitigate risks.
• Implement best practices for test processes, tools, and techniques to improve efficiency and quality.
• Oversee defect management processes, ensuring timely resolution and continuous improvement.
• Provide regular status updates to senior management and clients, highlighting progress, risks, and recommendations.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Proven experience in software testing, with a track record of successfully managing test teams and projects.
• Strong knowledge of testing methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid) and test management tools (e.g., JIRA, Azure DevOps).
• Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to motivate teams and collaborate across departments.
• Certification in ISTQB or similar testing frameworks is a plus.

This role requires a proactive, detail-oriented individual who can effectively lead testing efforts in a fast-paced environment while delivering high-quality results on schedule.
