We are currently seeking a ITIL Specialist to join our team in McLean, Virginia (US-VA), United States (US).

NTT DATA is seeking a highly skilled and experienced ITIL Specialist with federal government experience to join our IT Service Management team. The ITIL Specialist will be responsible for implementing and managing ITIL processes, ensuring that IT services meet business needs, and driving continuous improvement within the organization.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Implement and manage ITIL processes such as Incident Management, Problem Management, Change Management, and Service Request Management.

  • Coordinate with various IT teams to ensure efficient operation of ITIL processes.

  • Monitor and analyze IT service performance, identifying areas for improvement.

  • Develop and maintain ITIL process documentation and standard operating procedures.

  • Provide training and support to IT staff on ITIL best practices and processes.

  • Conduct regular process reviews and audits to ensure compliance with ITIL standards.

  • Assist in the development and implementation of IT service improvement plans.

  • Serve as a point of escalation for ITIL process-related issues.

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to align ITIL processes with business goals and objectives.

  • Experience in each of these Service management Practice Domains: Service Configuration Management, Monitoring and Event Management, Incident Management, Problem Management, Capacity and Performance Management, Service Catalog Management, Service Validation and Testing, Release Management

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

  • 5 years of experience in ITIL process implementation and management.

  • Experience supporting IT Service Management in a Multi-Supplier environment

  • 3 years' experience supporting a large Federal Government Agency

  • ITIL Foundation certification required; ITIL 4 Managing Professional (MP)

  • Must pass a Public Trust Clearance (US Citizen or Green Card holder}

Preferred:

  • ITIL 4 Strategic Leader (SL)

  • PMP Certification
