We are currently seeking a Proposals Specialist Advisor to join our team in McLean, Virginia (US-VA), United States (US).

NTT DATA is currently seeking an Experienced Proposal Manager to join our team in McLean, VA.

The Proposal Manager will manage the development of federal and state & local government solicitation responses and will serve as an integral part of the proposal team. Successful candidate must be able to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, and demonstrate the ability to prioritize and multi-task a variety of demanding assignments without a degradation of work quality. The Proposal Manager is responsible for the following tasks:

• Analyze and understand RFP to interpret the requirements and create compliant proposal outlines
• Manage the proposal process from pre-bid strategy to white glove reviews and production
• Coordinate information inputs with section leads, subject matter experts, and other contributors
• Provide direction to production staff (e.g., Desktop Publishers, Graphic Artists, Editors)
• Prepare compliant response outlines and assign and coordinate writing assignments both within the company and with teaming partners
• Leverage existing proposal content and work with technical writers to develop new content as needed for proposal responses
• Plan, schedule, and manage all color team reviews and debriefs, and execute / facilitate proposal revisions
• Write, proofread, edit and review proposal material for accuracy, compliance and quality
• Provide hands-on proposal services to include scheduling, outlining, storyboarding, and section writing; conducting reviews/recovery; editing and re-writing as needed for readability, compliance, effective incorporation of win themes and selling points, and basic document formatting
• Coordinate proposal efforts and new business development implementing standardization of best practices to create quality proposal products

Required Experience and Qualifications

• At least 5+ years of experience in proposal management required; at least 10 years of IT industry experience preferred
• Experience applying Shipley-based methods
• Experience with both federal and state and local government bids
• Ability to work with remote teams and manage several bids simultaneously
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office and Microsoft SharePoint
• Experience with governmental proposal development and processes is required
