We are currently seeking a Software Development Senior Specialist to join our team in Harahan, Louisiana, USA.

The Java Software Development Senior Specialist manages critical projects with general direction and may allocate some work to others, has a deep understanding of their own area, designs development, and supports high-volume, low latency applications for mission-critical systems delivering high availability and performance. Participates in (and may lead projects where analysis of systems or data requires an in-depth evaluation of complex business and/or system processes, and industry standards. Regularly mentors and reviews the work of less experienced team members. Executes schedules, costs, and documentation to ensure assigned projects come to successful conclusions. 

 

Required Skills

  • 8 years of relevant experience, with 5 years of experience in Java development
  • 8 years exp. designing and developing high-volume, low-latency applications for mission-critical systems.
  • 8 years experience with SOA and WebLogic Security Framework
  • 8 years of experience with DevOps, Continuous Integration, and Continuous Delivery (Maven, Jenkins)
  • 8 years of experience with relational databases (Oracle, DB2, or SQL Server)
  • Must be US Citizen with the ability to obtain US Public Trust clearance

 

Preferred Skills

  • Strong software architecture, design, and development experience
  • Strong working experience with Web service technologies such as REST, JSON, SOAP, JAXB, JAX-WS
  • Familiar with working on other Application Servers
  • Creative problem solver with an excellent approach to creating innovative solutions
  • Responsible for overall automation framework design and enhancement
  • Work closely with Infrastructure teams during the implementation of solutions
  • Participate in testing and quality assurance aspects of projects
  • Leverage skills to develop a proof of concepts for projects and when needed utilize programming and scripting techniques for complex situations
  • Content Management API integrations like Documentum
  • Ability to work in an Agile environment
  • Work as a Collaborative team

In compliance with the ColoradoEqual Pay Transparency Rules, NTT DATA provides a reasonable range of compensation for roles that may be hired in Colorado. For a candidate in the state of Colorado only, the starting pay range for this role is $90k to $140k. Actual compensation will depend on a number of factors, including actual work location, relevant experience (internal or external), technical skills, and other qualifications.
