NTT DATA Services Public Sector Vertical seeks a DC metro-based Sales Executive to join our Leadership Team. This individual contributor role is fully remote to DC Metro-based individuals. The Sales Executive will drive identifying, developing, and capturing IT Solutions and Professional Services opportunities within the US Department of Treasury (Treasury).  A working knowledge of the organizational structure, operating environment, major IT applications, and acquisition processes of Treasury is required. A demonstrated understanding of multiple Federal Financial Civilian Agencies’ organization, priorities, and strategic direction is essential.

 

The ideal candidate will have experience supporting market assessment, strategic planning, pipeline development, qualification, and conversation and will have played a hands-on role in new revenue attainment. The individual should have strong communication skills and the ability to consult effectively with government clients and contractor community executives.

 

The ideal candidate will have:
• Existing relationships with clients at multiple GS levels across multiple Treasury
• Experience managing capture and delivery efforts
• Experience in all aspects of Federal proposal development

• Solid knowledge of the competitive landscape, including an understanding of essential contract vehicles used
• Established relationships across the industry with large contractors, SBs, and product vendors
• Experience supporting all aspects of the sales lifecycle, including opportunity identification, qualification, account penetration, pursuit strategy, and contracting processes
• Ability to partner with alliance/channel partners to craft and support the sale of solutions
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

 

Only those candidates with recent experience selling and delivering IT Solutions or Professional Services to the Treasury will be considered.

 

Job Level Specific Duties & Skills:
• Oversees and manages the pipeline of qualified prospects in line with NTT DATA’s overall sales and growth strategy.
• Identifies and researches top prospects, developing detailed account plans per a complex sale methodology and driving sufficient demand to meet quarterly and annual targets.
• Utilizes advanced knowledge of NTT DATA’s service offerings and understanding of the client's business to develop tailored proposals that present creative solutions that successfully sell the organization's capabilities.
• Demonstrated ability to build sales forecasts, establish priorities, and keep the team focused on sales goals.
• Proven experience meeting or exceeding sales quota.
• Strong influencing, presentation, and professional sales skills.
• Ability to develop long-term strategic and executive-level relationships.
• Proven track record of building internal and external relationships, influencing thinking through a consultative sales process, and closing complex services sales.

 

Minimum Experience:
• 10+ years of IT Solution Sales experience in Federal Civilian, with 5+ years selling to the Department of Treasury (This includes 5-7 years of managerial/leadership experience.)
• 10+ years of selling experience selling similar types of services: IT Infrastructure, Applications Modernization, Advisory/Consulting, Digital & Application, Infrastructure, Cloud, Mobility & Security, and Business Process Outsourcing within Treasury
• Track record of wins in the $20M – $100M+ TCV range within Treasury
• 10+ years history of meeting and exceeding a set individual quota (quota for this role is $16MM TCV)

• Must be commutable to the DC Metro Area

 

Minimum Education 
• Undergraduate degree, Graduate degree preferred, or relevant experience
