We are currently seeking a Systems Support Specialist (REMOTE) to join our team in McLean, Virginia (US-VA), United States (US).

Responsibilities:

The Systems Support Specialist provides system support for the areas of systems administration, Data Center Operations, ISeries and Distributed Systems Messaging, Storage and Network.

  • Knowledge and skills to troubleshoot and complete request tasks and incidents, resolve tickets generated through automation and resolves tickets assigned by the service desk.
  • Understands and manages problems utilizing defined problem and change management policies and procedures according to ITIL framework.  Provides technical guidance to technicians and analysts,
  • Identifies recurring incidents and analyzes the root cause and partners with senior subject matter experts and vendors in problem resolution and developing solutions and improvements.

 

Required Skills:

  • 5+ years’ experience as a Windows Systems Administrator or Engineer
  • 3 + years’ experience in automating assigned tasks utilizing PowerShell
  • 5 + years’ experience in maintaining and support Citrix virtual environment including desktops, servers, provisioning, and applications.
  • Experience installing, configuration, maintaining, and troubleshooting complex applications and websites (IIS, Apache, etc.).
  • Experience working in an environment with complex networking solutions with senior level fundamental knowledge in networking principles (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, SMTP, SNMP).
  • Experience managing enterprise level Active Directory structure.
  • Ability to create and maintain complex Microsoft Group Policy implementations.
  • Comprehensive understanding of creating, maintaining, following Standard Operating Procedures for repeatable processes, disaster recovery, and common problem resolution.
  • Experience supporting Cybersecurity patch management, vulnerability management and Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIG), Security Requirement Guides (SRG), Risk Management Framework (RMF), Security Control Assessor-Validator (SCA-V), and Command Cyber Readiness Inspections (CCRI).
  • Ability to configure and maintain key services such as DNS, SFTP, SMTP, and NTP.
  • Ability to obtain a Public Trust Security Clearance.

 

Desired Skills:

  • Experience in installing, administering, patching SharePoint technologies.
  • Knowledge administering TFS which includes configuration of work items, source code repositories and reporting.
  • Working knowledge of Agile methodologies.

 

Education / Certification:

  • Bachelor of Science in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems Management, or related field

In compliance with the Colorado Equal Pay Transparency Rules, NTT DATA provides a reasonable range of compensation for roles that may be hired in Colorado. The starting pay range for a candidate selected for this position who works in Colorado is $93,000 - $130, 200. The successful candidate's actual pay will be based on a number of factors, including work location, relevant experience (internal or external), technical skills, and other qualifications. The candidate may also be eligible for incentive compensation based on personal and/or company performance. This position is eligible for company benefits including but not limited to medical, dental, and vision coverage with an employer contribution, flexible spending or health savings account, life  and AD&D, short and long term disability coverage, paid time off, employee assistance, participation in a 401k program with company match, and many other additional voluntary benefits.
