We are currently seeking a ServiceNow Developer to join our team in Mclean, Virginia (US-VA), United States (US).

NTT DATA is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented ServiceNow Developer with federal government experience to join our team. The ServiceNow Developer will play a key role in the design, development, and implementation of ServiceNow applications and customizations. This role involves working closely with business analysts, project managers, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver solutions that streamline processes and enhance productivity. 

Responsibilities: 

• Develop, configure, and customize ServiceNow applications and modules, including but not limited to Incident Management, Change Management, Problem Management, Knowledge Management, and Service Catalog. 

• Create and maintain workflows, business rules, client scripts, UI policies, and other ServiceNow customizations. 

• Integrate ServiceNow with other systems and applications using APIs and web services. 

• Develop and maintain ServiceNow reports and dashboards. 

• Assist in the development and execution of test plans to ensure the quality and functionality of ServiceNow applications. 

• Troubleshoot and resolve issues identified during testing. 

• Collaboration and Communication:  

• Work closely with business analysts and end-users to gather requirements and understand business needs. 

• Communicate effectively with team members, project managers, and other stakeholders. 

• Provide training and support to end-users on ServiceNow applications. 

•  Develop and maintain front-end and back-end components of software applications. 

•  Work with teams to design scalable, secure software solutions. 

•  Implement API integrations and ensure smooth communication between microservices. 

•  Participate in code reviews and contribute to overall software quality. 

Qualifications: 

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field. 

• Minimum 3 years of in ServiceNow development, administration, architecture, scripting and workflow development. 

• ServiceNow Certified System Administrator or ServiceNow Certified Application Developer 

Preferred:  

• ITIL v4 foundation certification 

• Proficiency in JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and other web development technologies.
