Role Overview

We are looking for a Techno-Functional Consultant with expertise in Java and VBA to support and enhance applications within the Defined Benefits (Pension) domain.

Key Responsibilities

Techno-Functional Responsibilities

• Collaborate with business stakeholders, pension administrators, and SMEs to understand Defined Benefits processes and requirements.

Technical Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain applications using:
• Java, JEE, Spring MVC, Spring Boot
• Work on VBA-based Excel tools, including enhancement, maintenance, and transformation.
• Convert and modernize VBA scripts into Java/JavaScript-based applications.
• Develop and optimize SQL queries and stored procedures.
• Build and consume REST-based services where required.
• Work in a DevOps environment with CI/CD pipelines.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years of experience in:
• Java, JEE, Spring MVC, Spring Boot
• Strong hands-on experience with:
• VBA and Excel-based solutions
• JavaScript (JS)
• 3+ years of experience in SQL and Stored Procedures.
• Experience working in CI/CD and DevOps environments.
• Experience with unit testing frameworks (JUnit, Mockito, PowerMock).
