We are currently seeking a Director, Modern Workplace Services - Public Sector to join our team in Metro DC, Virginia (US-VA), United States (US).

This is an exciting opportunity for a Modern Workplace Services Leader with deep expertise in end-user device support ranging from modern desktop engineering, to service desk and field services, for government agencies and large school districts' 1:1 device programs. This individual will provide thought leadership in evangelizing company expertise in modern desktop engineering and support, integrating automation, and establishing best practices for help desk and field services with company customers and prospects.

As an industry thought leader, the successful candidate will regularly present insights at industry events and through publications. This role supports our public sector sales teams, engaging with senior executives from clients and prospects to highlight the power of modern digital workplace solutions and our company's industry expertise.

**Responsibilities: **

- Design and recommend digital workplace solutions based on customer requirements, with a focus on end-user device support.

- Provide pre-sales support by collaborating with the sales team to understand client needs and craft custom solutions.

- Lead initiatives to bring automation and best practices to help desk and field services operations across the company client portfolio.

- Present at industry events and publish expertise on digital workplace solutions and modern desktop engineering.

- Work with senior executives from clients and prospects to showcase the potential of modern workplace solutions and device management.

- Maintain and deepen understanding of emerging trends and technologies in the digital workplace sector.

- Develop strategic partnerships to boost our company's offerings and industry positioning.

- Work with industry analysts to understand the marketplace and promote company strengths to the analyst community.  

**Requirements:**

- Proven experience as a pre-sale engineer, with a focus on digital workplace solutions.

- Demonstrable expertise in end-user device support for government agencies and large school districts.

- Expert knowledge in modern desktop engineering and support.

- Demonstrated success in integrating automation and establishing best practices in help desk and field services.

- Well-established presence as a thought leader in the Public Sector industry.

- Excellent public speaking skills and ability to explain complex technology concepts to diverse audiences.

- Experience interfacing with senior executives.

- Willingness to travel up to 50% for in-person meetings and events.

- Must be based near a major airport.
