"Reporting Analyst – Job Description (NTT DATA)
Position Overview
The Reporting Analyst at NTT DATA supports data-driven decision making by developing, maintaining, and enhancing reporting solutions for internal teams and client engagements. The role requires strong analytical capability, a consultative mindset, and the ability to translate business requirements into meaningful dashboards and insights. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including delivery, PMO, operations, and client stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
Reporting & Dashboard Development
•    Develop and maintain enterprise-grade reports and dashboards using Power BI, Tableau, Excel, or other comparable BI tools.
•    Build automated reporting solutions to replace manual processes.
•    Convert complex business requirements into visual and analytical reporting assets.
Data Analysis & Insights
•    Conduct trend analysis, variance analysis, and KPI tracking for projects, accounts, and business units.
•    Identify performance gaps and provide insights to leadership teams.
•    Support client-facing reporting requirements as part of project delivery.
Data Quality & Governance
•    Ensure accuracy, consistency, and reliability of data across reporting platforms.
•    Collaborate with data engineering and IT teams to resolve data issues and improve data pipelines.
•    Adhere to NTT DATA’s data governance standards and reporting frameworks.
Stakeholder Collaboration
•    Work closely with PMO, delivery managers, solution teams, and client leaders to gather requirements.
•    Present analytical findings in clear and concise formats to internal and external stakeholders.
•    Provide user training and support for dashboards and reporting tools.
Required Qualifications
•    Bachelor’s degree in Business, Analytics, Computer Science, Finance, or related field.
•    Strong proficiency with Microsoft Excel (advanced formulas, PivotTables).
•    Hands-on experience with Power BI, Tableau, or similar BI tools.
•    Working knowledge of SQL and relational databases.
•    Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
•    Experience with Python or R for analytics.
•    Knowledge of cloud platforms (Azure preferred, AWS/GCP acceptable).
•    Familiarity with enterprise reporting within global delivery models.
