We are currently seeking a SAP BASIS Team Lead to join our team in Mexican Republic, México (MX-MEX), Mexico (MX).

Day to Day job Duties: (what this person will do on a daily/weekly basis) 

• Lead SAP SD module design, configuration, and implementation in ECC and S/4 HANA.
• Extensive hands-on experience in SAP Sales & Distribution (SD) with a minimum of two full-cycle implementations and strong experience in support projects
• Business Collaboration & Analysis: Serve as the main point of contact for OTC topics, conduct workshops, gather business requirements, perform fit-gap analysis, and translate complex needs into scalable SAP solutions
• S/4HANA Specific Knowledge: Proficiency in S/4HANA architecture, simplifications in the SD module, SAP Fiori apps and user interfaces, and new functionalities like Advanced ATP (aATP), Business Partner approach, and Revenue Accounting (RAR).   Core Configuration Skills: Expertise in configuring key SD processes including sales order processing, pricing, billing, credit management (FSCM), output management, returns, intercompany sales, and third-party order processing.
• Customization & Development Oversight: Define functional specifications for custom developments (Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Enhancements, Forms, Workflows - RICEFW), and govern their development and testing
• Conduct unit testing, regression testing, and UAT support to validate solutions.   Testing & Quality Assurance: Define and execute test strategies across various phases (SIT, UAT, regression testing), ensure compliance with audit and regulatory standards, and manage defect resolution.
• Manage order-to-cash processes including pricing, billing, shipping, Output Management, Special sales processes credit management, and invoicing.
• Integration Knowledge: Strong understanding of integration touchpoints with other modules (FI-AR, MM, PP, LE, TM) and external systems using EDI/IDoc, APIs, etc...
• Provide support for system upgrades, migrations, and enhancements.
• Document configuration, test scenarios, and solution designs.
• Collaborate with stakeholders, conduct workshops, and deliver training sessions.

 Basic Qualifications: (what are the skills required to this job with minimum years of experience on each)

• 8–10 years of SAP SD consulting experience with strong exposure to ECC and S/4 HANA.
• Proven expertise in enhancements, functional specifications, and custom developments.
• Strong background in unit testing, regression testing, and defect resolution.
• Deep understanding of order-to-cash cycle, pricing procedures, billing, and logistics execution.
• Hands-on experience with S/4 HANA migration projects and Fiori apps related to SD.
• Experience in data migration, cutover activities, and system testing.

Travel:  This position requires someone who can travel at least 80%.  . 

Degree: Bachelors in Computer Science or equivalent work experience

Nice to Have; (But not a must)

• SAP Activate knowledge, training and/or SAP certification
