We are currently seeking a Project Coordinator (Remote) to join our team in Mexico City, México (MX-MEX), Mexico (MX).

Project Coordinator (Remote)

 

• Project Leadership: Create, manage, and assess project scope, constraints, and timelines, ensuring projects stay on track.
• Budget Management: Develop project budgets and regularly update them to maintain accuracy. Generate budget reports comparing actual and forecasted costs.
• Risk Management: Establish and manage plans for risks and issues, analyzing potential impacts and implementing risk mitigation procedures.
• Stakeholder Communication: Prepare performance and status reports, keeping stakeholders informed of progress and any challenges.
• Governance and Processes: Define project governance, communication standards, and quality benchmarks, including creating deliverable acceptance criteria.
• Change Management: Identify and strategize for changes in scope, schedule, and cost, with a focus on costs, benefits, and tradeoffs.
• Transition Planning: Develop transition plans and apply lessons learned to future projects.
• Program Management: Manage interdependencies, set objectives, define requirements, and schedule activities to optimize project outcomes.
• Stakeholder Engagement: Balance and negotiate needs across multiple stakeholders, building buy-in even from those resistant to change.

 

 

Basic Qualifications:   

• 10+ years of experience as a Project Manager, with experience in methodologies, disciplines, and best practices
• 2+ years as a Project Coordinator, Scrum Master, or Business Analyst

• 5+ years of experience in:

• Coordinating cross-functional activities to ensure project milestones are met on time and within scope.

• Facilitating Agile ceremonies such as daily stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospectives, and demos.

• Collaborating with Product Owners, Business Analysts, and Technical Leads to refine requirements and ensure team alignment.

• Tracking and reporting on project progress, risks, and dependencies using tools like JIRA, Confluence, Azure DevOps or equivalent.

• Identifying and resolving roadblocks, escalating issues when necessary to ensure continued progress.

• Supporting project documentation including project plans, timelines, meeting notes, and status reports.

• Assisting in backlog grooming and user story definition to ensure readiness for development.

• Fostering a positive and productive team environment by promoting collaboration, accountability, and transparency.

• Leading projects of moderate to high complexity

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, MS Project, SharePoint, and Visio

• Fluent English, easy to understand on Teams Meetings.

• Familiarity with Agile methodologies and tools (e.g., JIRA, Confluence, Azure DevOps).

• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and projects.

• Detail-oriented and proactive, with a focus on driving results and continuous improvement.

• Experience preparing project documentation and facilitating team meetings.

 

 

Preferred Skills:   

• Bachelor’s degree in a technical field or equivalent experience
• CSM, PMI-ACP, or similar Agile certification

• Experience working in software development or IT infrastructure environments

• Experience in SDLC, change management, and release coordination.

• Experience to stakeholder management and requirements gathering
