We are currently seeking a Software Development Advisor to join our team in Mexico City, México (MX-MEX), Mexico (MX).

InterOps Engineer

About the Role

We are seeking an InterOperations Engineer to manage and support integration platforms and enterprise APIs. This role involves MuleSoft platform administration, AWS Glue and native services, and Enterprise REST API support, ensuring seamless integration, version control, and operational stability across systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Administer and maintain MuleSoft integration platform, including patching, upgrades, and performance tuning.
• Support and optimize AWS Glue jobs and other native AWS services for data integration and transformation.
• Manage and monitor Enterprise REST APIs, ensuring high availability and security compliance.
• Collaborate with development teams to support deployments and troubleshoot integration issues.
• Ensure adherence to SLA timelines for incident resolution and service requests.
• Document configurations, operational procedures, and integration workflows for audit and knowledge sharing.
• Implement best practices for API governance, security, and versioning.
• Participate in on-call rotations and provide after-hours support when required.

Mandatory Experience

• 3+ years in integration operations or platform administration roles.
• Hands-on experience with MuleSoft administration and API management.
• Strong knowledge of AWS Glue, Lambda, and other AWS native services.
• Experience in supporting Enterprise REST APIs and related security standards (OAuth, JWT).

Required Skills

• Expertise in integration platforms and API lifecycle management.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation.
• Strong troubleshooting skills for complex integration issues.
• Knowledge of ITIL processes, SLA adherence, and incident management.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.

Nice to Have

• Experience with API Gateway and microservices architecture.
• Exposure to data security and compliance frameworks.
• Knowledge of monitoring tools like Splunk, CloudWatch, or Dynatrace.
