We are currently seeking a Systems Support Senior Analyst to join our team in Mexico City, México (MX-MEX), Mexico (MX).

 

Location:
Onsite, full‑time – Mexico City, MX
Preferred proximity to Polanco and nearby districts.

 Role Overview

Participate from day one in the facility build‑out (rack‑and‑stack, basic setup).
Provide ongoing hands‑on desktop and local connectivity support.
Work closely with central NOC/engineering teams, who retain ownership of monitoring and advanced management.

 

Key Responsibilities

Build & Implementation

  • Assist with rack‑and‑stack of IT equipment (servers, switches, firewalls, APs) under remote engineering guidance.
  • Support initial site setup and basic connectivity checks for:access switches (likely Cisco or successor platform), wireless infrastructure (historically Juniper or similar).
  • Basic firewall/perimeter gear (Level 1 tasks only).

 Desktop Support & Onboarding

  • Image and configure Windows desktops/laptops per Circle K’s standard desktop build.
  • Handle new hire onboarding:
  • Prepare and issue devices.
  • Perform standard user setup and configuration.
  • Provide Level 1 troubleshooting for: Hardware, OS, and standard corporate applications.
  • Printers and common peripherals.

 

Local Connectivity & Wireless

  • Troubleshoot basic LAN/WLAN issues for end‑users (wired and wireless).
  • Validate ports/VLANs and escalate configuration changes to central teams.
  • Perform basic wireless troubleshooting (signal/SSID/access issues) and escalate complex issues.

 

Operations & Coordination

  • Work onsite 8x5 during local business hours; support occasional overtime as needed.
  • Cross‑train with the second onsite technician to ensure coverage during absences.
  • Log incidents and requests in the agreed ticketing/ITSM system.
  • Collaborate with:Central NOC/infrastructure teams, local business leadership and service delivery managers.Requirements

 

 Experience & Technical Skills

  • 1–3 years in desktop support, IT field services, or similar onsite support role.
  • Strong hands‑on experience with:Windows desktop/laptop install, configuration, and troubleshooting.
  • Basic networking concepts: IP, DNS, DHCP, VLAN basics.
  • Wi‑Fi connectivity troubleshooting from the user side.
  • Ability to: Safely rack and stack standard IT equipment.
  • Follow runbooks/procedures from remote engineers.

 Nice to Have

  • Exposure to Cisco switching and enterprise wireless (e.g., Juniper).
  • Experience in a large corporate or managed services environment.

 Soft Skills

  • Strong customer service mindset and professional onsite demeanor.
  • Clear verbal and written communication (with local leadership and remote teams).
  • Reliable, punctual, and comfortable acting as the onsite face of IT.
  • Willingness to learn and cross‑train to ensure redundancy between the two roles.
