We are currently seeking a Cloud Engineer KVM to join our team in Mexico, México (MX-MEX), Mexico (MX).

. Real KVM / Linux Depth
Candidate must:
•    Understand what KVM is and how it works (kernel module, VMM, QEMU/Libvirt stack).
•    Be strong in Linux internals (CPU, memory, IO, systemd, networking).
•    Have tuned or debugged performance issues (NUMA, CPU pinning, storage latency, network issues).
•    Know how virtualization issues surface inside VMs.
If they cannot clearly explain how a VM runs on KVM down to the hardware, they are not senior enough.
 
2. Strong Troubleshooting Discipline
We want people who:
•    Have handled P1 / production outages.
•    Can walk step-by-step through how they isolate root cause.
•    Understand how to separate OS vs hypervisor vs storage vs Kubernetes issues.
•    Use logs and metrics properly — not guess and change configs randomly.
•    Have written or contributed to real RCAs.
If they cannot describe a structured outage approach, they are not a fit.
 
3. Kubernetes Awareness (Operational, Not Developer)
They should be able to troubleshoot:
•    Pod CrashLoopBackOff
•    Node NotReady
•    Service not routing traffic
•    Storage latency impacting workloads
We do not need Kubernetes architects.
We need engineers who can debug real runtime issues.
