Job Summary:
Join our multinational team as a seasoned Linux & Cloud Admin responsible for providing L3/L4 expert support Linux ( SUSE and Redhat ) and Windows OS, Hosted in hyperscaler platforms ( Azure ,GCP,AWS,IBM Cloud ) and SAP/Customer On-prem DC .
We are seeking a highly skilled SAP Server Management Expert to execute complex SAP Infrastructure upgrades and resizes, The ideal candidate will have deep technical expertise in Linux Administration and Azure hyperscalers, a strong understanding of Hyperscalers concept and hands-on experience with server upgrades, resizes, and storage restructuring
Key Responsibilities and what you should bring:
- 8+ years of Server Management / Linux Administration Experience
- Plan and execute Server upgrades to the various latest version
- Experience in handling the Azure Hyperscalers platform with the knowledge in networking rules
- Plan and perform the server resize
- Understanding of different storage types in the hyperscalers and resizing the same
- Setup and configuring the SFTP, Samba and Squdy proxy
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues during and post-upgrades
- Maintain comprehensive documentation of upgrade/conversion procedures and lessons learned.
- Stay current with SAP’s roadmap, release strategy, and best practices for upgrades and conversions.
- Proficiency in networking encompassing TCP/IP, IP routing, NAT, and firewalls.
- Demonstrated expertise in managing network services such as DNS, LDAP, and HTTP proxies
- Hands-on experience in administering hyperscaler environments which includes managing compute and storage
- Ensure 24/7 availability of SAP systems within the SAP ECS environment, responding promptly to alerts and incidents in the Linux OS and infrastructure layers across Hyperscalers and SAP Data Centers.
- Act as the L3/L4 escalation contact for critical production issues, strictly adhering to change management protocols during service request execution.
- Optimize standard operating procedures by leveraging automation techniques and implementing automation solutions to enhance platform operations, efficiency, and reliability.
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives to enhance cloud services for SAP Applications, emphasizing scalability, security, and performance.
- Collaborate with a diverse, multinational team to deliver world-class cloud services tailored to SAP Applications for global enterprise customers.
- Contribute to designing and implementing strategies to optimize the customer experience and ensure compliance with service level agreements (SLAs).
